Greetings, I am writing to inform you that the motor of my Nostalgia Electric Ice Cream Maker burned out immediately upon switching it on for the first time. Upon reviewing the specifications, I noticed the appliance is designed for 120V, whereas the standard voltage in my region is 230V. This may have caused the malfunction. I would appreciate your support in arranging a replacement that is compatible with 230V. If that is not possible, I kindly request a full refund. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Best regards,
R**.
I have a cuisinart ice cream maker with the bowl that you freeze, but it just does not make enough ice cream for a large group, so I wanted an "old school" maker. The price on this was definitely a factor in my purchase, and it really works pretty well. We used a lot of ice and salt, and checked on it midway through to add more ice and salt. The only odd thing was as we served the ice cream and got further down in the container, I decided to put the ice cream in smaller container to freeze the rest. The very bottom of the container came out pure liquid, like it had not been churned/frozen. I don't know if it's because it never froze or because it melted as we were serving it, but I've not had that happen before so?? This was very easy to use and makes about the same amount of sound as you'd expect from an ice cream maker. It is a 4 quart capacity, so makes a good amount for a large group! I may update this next time with the liquid at the bottom issue??

It’s hard to find a basic ice cream machine. We had an old family recipe we wanted to make but didn’t want to purchase a fancy Nancy machine. This worked great. Makes yummy ice cream. Recommend

EEEEEXCELENT ice cream maker! Unless you have a compressor in your icecream maker you are relegated to freeze the container and wait 24 more or less(depending on on the icecream maker) to freeze before you can start churning ice ceam mixture. This one just add ice with salt.
