EXCELLENT GROOMING: VERY SMOOTH
PROS: 1) SHAVES THE UNDERCARRIAGE VERY SMOOTHLY AND EASILY 2) 1 HOUR CHARGE FOR 80 MINS USE 3) MULTIPLE CUTTING LENGTHS FOR NON-UNDERCARRIAGE AREAS 4) QUALITY CONSTRUCTION 5) IPX7 RATED FULLY WATERPROOF 6) TRAVEL BAG INCLUDED CONS: 1) A HARD CASE OR A FOIL GUARD IS NOT INCLUDED 2) CARE HAS TO BE TAKEN WHEN IN THE NETHER REGIONS 3) FOIL HEAD WOULD BE BETTER WITH ONLY ONE TRIMMING EDGE I have been using my wife’s disposable razors (she always gives me a razor) for years now. The usual routine is soaping up and careful manipulation of the deadly weapon (the razor that is) whilst in the shower. So I have used this Philips 7025 Body Groomer twice since receiving it. My wife is out of the country for another week, having been home due to her mother being critically ill, and subsequently, passing on. I have used the groomer once dry, and once in the shower. I have only used it on the undercarriage, though I have a hairy chest, that’s what my wife likes. In my limited experience of the groomer, it is better to use it in dry mode. In the shower, it doesn’t feel like it’s moving smoothly across the skin. When I used it dry, the foil moved smoothly across my skin and left me as smooth as a well known brand (beginning with G, product is the Greek Goddess of Love) lady’s razor. I was surprised at the performance, having had the top Braun shavers (for my face) in the past. In the shower, I didn’t use soap, and perhaps I should have, but the efficiency on undercarriage shaving isn’t anywhere near as good. Ignore the no-sayers on here. The reason they’ve been nicked or caught by the foil head is down to operator errror. The foil head swivels in 4 directions. The main one being pivoting in line with the body of the groomer, being hinged at the edges. This means you can alter the angle between the groomer and the foil head to keep the foil in contact with the body’s contours. On either edge of the groomer, is a reciprocating saw (that’s what it feels like when it catches you) ok, blade. This is used for trimming and practising latte art on your tackle. The issue here is, you need to pay careful attention to keeping your skin held tautly, and ensuring that the groomer head is perpendicular (emphasis on dic) to your skin. If you do this, the trimmer will not catch your goolies. It happened only once to me, because I figured out the issue and adjusted how I used it. A better design would have been having just one trimming edge on the foil. The other issue is that the microfibre bag doesn’t really serve any purpose. It’s not rigid, so it doesn’t protect the unit, and it’s not tailored, so it just looks scrappy. I haven’t used the body hair grooming head at the other end of the groomer. I’m leaving that so my wife can decide how long or short she wants my chest hair. All in all, especially since this was on offer at around 40-50% off the rrp, it is excellent. However, even if I’d paid full price, I’d be very happy with this Philips 7025 Male Groomer. BUY IT, IT’S DOTTORE APPROVED!!!

Great overall body trimmer - no nicks or cuts
I’ve bought several body groomers over the years but this particular one is the standout best one I’ve used. The extender keeps the shaver secure and is long enough to cover trimming your back with ease. The choice of attachments is excellent too; with an LED light that really is useful. The foil shaver is very good and comfortable to use even on intimate areas, alongside the 1mm trimmer and 2 other trimmers where you can adjust the comb guard. I have the double ended Philips body groom which is very good as well, however this unit is more comfortable in the hand and manoeuvrable, plus with the back extender the usability of this unit comes out on top.

A solid and sturdy bit of kit
I got one of these because shaving with a normal razor was rather tedious, and also a tad dangerous due to the risk of cuts. It's safe to say that this has definitely made things a lot easier and faster. The build quality is pretty solid, although I would have liked the sides to either have grips or grooves, just to make things a bit safer. It would have also been nice to not have a proprietary charger, especially in a world where highly-water-resistant GoPros have had USB Type-C ports on them for years. The various options for cut length with the trimmer are welcome, and it's usually quite safe from clogging. The other end is also quite effective for its job, and while it doesn't give you a super close shave, this in turn will generally save you from ingrown hairs. It's definitely sturdy, having survived more than a few drops onto hard surfaces, although the mesh on the contour shaver doesn't stay in properly. I have had a few snags with it resulting in cuts. Using the contour shaver on loose skin can result in the skin going between the rakes and into the blades. Great care must be taken in those areas, as cuts of any kind are incredibly unpleasant. At the very least, unlike with a normal razor, cuts around the knees and ankles are basically non-existent. Overall, it's a pretty worthy purchase. It's generally safer than a razor (if perhaps less fine), and it can also be a lot faster, cutting an hour-long activity down to 40 minutes, if even that.

Smooth, safe, and versatile—great for full-body grooming with zero irritation or faff.
Used this for chest, back, and below-the-belt grooming—works well wet or dry. Dual-sided design means you can trim and shave without switching heads. Blades are skin-friendly and don’t nick or pull, even on sensitive areas. Battery life’s solid—gets through multiple sessions before needing a charge. Waterproof build makes it easy to rinse under the tap or use in the shower. Grip’s comfortable and doesn’t slip when wet. Perfect for drivers, gym-goers, or anyone who wants clean grooming without messing around with razors or multiple tools. Minor gripe: takes a couple of passes on thicker hair, but still gets the job done cleanly. 👍 Pros ✅ Dual-sided trimmer and shaver—no head swaps ✅ Showerproof and easy to clean ✅ Skin-friendly blades—no irritation ✅ Long battery life and quick charge ✅ Comfortable grip and solid build 👎 Cons ❌ Needs a few passes on thick hair ❌ No travel pouch included ❌ Slightly bulky for tight spots

A great body groomer
I absolutely recommend using the body grooming foil side in the shower - do not try to shave sensitive areas dry because it will hurt. When wet, it glides well, it's quite powerful and you can shave quite quickly. The shaving area is a good size - not to big and not too small for any areas. It's waterproof and very durable. Good price for the quality.

Great ergonomics, brilliant buit quality BUT awful shave quality!!!
I use a double edged safety razor to shave my face and never in my life I've had so many nicks and cuts as I did from this horrid piece of junk. Things I found on my 1st shave with it, let's start with positive: + Sits very well in hand + The battery charging is fairly quick and lasts as advertised (not fully tested but 30 min was fine and going strong) So 1st impression from this trimmer is great, that is until you get down to business. In my case, I mean, really DOWN to business, so I gave it a shot in my groin area and was following the guidlines they provide via images in the box (straigthening the skin out, etc.). Picture attached is after using THE TRIMMER not even the foil shaver but the trimmer on 3 mm setting. This is a torture device that should not be on the market, or, perhaps, for somebody that desperate or pain loving at 1/10 of what it costs. The most important aspect and the greates con of this product: - Absolutely awful shave quality using both trimmer and the shaver. Nicks & cuts left and right. Love watching yourself bleed? Get it! Otherwise, stay away.

Okay product
Does its job. It can still nick if not careful down there. Not sure if it is worth 70£ though.
