Lifesaver Snow Socks for Heavy Snow – Quick Install & Smooth Drive on My Suburban in Mammoth Lakes!
Last month, I headed up to Mammoth Lakes with my family and got hit with a massive snowstorm – roads were slick and treacherous. I had this 2-pack of XXXL red snow socks ready for my Chevy Suburban, and they were an absolute game-changer. Installation was a breeze compared to traditional chains: slipped them on in under 5 minutes per tire, no lying in the snow or wrestling with metal links – just stretch over the drive wheels, tighten, and go. Super user-friendly, even in freezing conditions with gloves on. Once on the road, they performed flawlessly – ultimate grip on packed snow and ice, no slipping or sliding, even climbing steep inclines. Drove safely for hours without any issues, vibrations, or damage to my rims/tires (huge plus over chains). The 3D fabric held up great, and they're washable/reusable, so I'll definitely pack them for future trips. EN-certified quality you can trust. If you drive a larger SUV in snowy areas like Mammoth, these are way better than chains – highly recommend!

Easy installation and gloves included!
I diligently read reviews on several brands of snow socks and ended up going with these because of a couple of reviews from people who live in legit cold weather and they gave these five stars. I live in SoCal so I would only need to use these when driving to snow, for a short period of time. I figured if they were okay for people who live in actual places that it snows, then they would be good enough for my short usages. When we got to our destination, the main roads were plowed and did not have any snow on them. But once we got on the snowy driveway of our rental, my tires started sliding. We got to a flat surface, put the snow socks on (super easy to put on compared to chains), and we were able to go up the driveway without slipping. We kept them on for the rest of the trip and had no issues. My friend who has the same car I do, also bought snow socks (a different brand). This brand comes with a set of gloves (hers did not), and boy were they helpful! You can do without them for putting the snow socks on, but you definitely need them for getting them off. Especially if the socks are frozen. The gloves go up to your elbows so they will protect your clothing as you reach around to back of your tires when putting on and taking off the snow socks. We only drove several miles in the snow socks, so I don't know how they hold up long term. But they were great for just getting to and from our cabin to the ski resort.

Too small.
These snow socks are great and seem well made, but they are too small for my regular car tires. Size is medium. The label on the sock states they are a medium.

Be aware the time you are using it
Works OK, but don't drive them with on light snow road (the snow is not fully cover the pathway), it will damage it incredibly fast!

Robbery
They really are not worth buying for the city asphalt. They broke on the first snow storm, very disappointing.
