I have combination-dry, sensitive skin. Chemical sunscreens irritate my skin, cause stinging in my eyes and an odd taste in my mouth. I also cannot use anything scented for similar reasons. Many physical sunscreens are either too heavy, or leave a white cast, and sunscreen formulated specifically for the face tend to be geared toward oily skin. Their “matte” or “non-greasy” formulas dry me out and pile under makeup. This one is different. Badger’s Mineral Daily Sunscreen is deeply moisturizing, absorbs beautifully, and has zero white cast once rubbed in. It’s not greasy, but it’s also not mattifying. It’s consistency and feel are like a high quality facial moisturizer, which is exactly what I need. I use it on my face daily, often under makeup, and it looks great. No piling, no irritation, no stinging eyes. It’s technically not labeled as a face sunscreen, but I find it works better than most that are. Plus, the 4 oz tube is generous and makes it easy to use on the body too. I’ve tried nearly every physical sunscreen out there, and this one is a rare find: unscented, reef-safe, certified organic, and full of safe, skin-loving ingredients. I seriously hope they never change the formula, I don’t want to go through the search all over again.

Firstly, this is the first sunscreen I can use on my face. It actually helps my skin, and has not caused me to break out. Please be hesitant however, some people can be sensitive to coconut oil. But most aren't. Secondly to that yes its oily, but a little goes a long way. Can be worn under makeup but here's the catch... not perfect under all makeup. For one let it sink into the skin for a good 7-10 min before you apply. Works very well with powder foundations and concealer. I have yet to try liquid foundation because I just don't think that will work out. Also people complaining about how this wears under makeup is wild to me, it's sunscreen. It's meant to protect your skin. If that's truly what you care about just go without the makeup. If you use it daily, just find what products work with it and what don't. But this is completely clean ingredient wise so doesn't matter to me much! Hard to come by clean sunscreens like this.

After trying so many mineral sunscreens, this one is definitely a winner. It goes on very easily and has a nice, light feel to it - not like you are sealed in plastic. It feels nice on my skin and it not tacky or sticky at all. I really don’t notice a white cast at all, it doesn’t irritate my skin in the least, and no scent. If you are looking for a good and reasonably priced mineral sunscreen, I recommend you try this one. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now, and I really like it, and no sunburn!

I can't use sunscreens with "chemical" active ingredients (I know everything is a chemical but bear with me, that's what they're called) and have been searching for years for the best mineral sunscreen. This is a pretty good contender. The only downside is how oily it is, but it's a tradeoff with mineral sunscreen--it's either super chalky and drying and difficult to rub in, or it's easy to rub in and not super drying but it's oily. I'll take oily. I just can't really put it where my hair touches (my neck) because then my hair gets oily too. Overall it's been nice for everyday use. I haven't tested it in the Caribbean sun or anything like that, but I'll update if I do. Shake well before using! I often find that it separates in the bottle.

This sunscreen is rated excellent on Yuka. It’s a thick cream that absorbs really well into my skin and leaves no white cast. With that being said it does leave a greasy finish. It works decently under makeup and doesn’t flake off but I have to use a lot of translucent powder to set it and then apply my concealer and blush. If you use minimal makeup then this will work ok but you NEED powder in my opinion. It is non-irritating and doesn’t have a scent. I’m happy with it overall.
