Vet One KetoHex Antiseptic Spray with Dermatological Condition for Dog Cat & Horse 8 oz.

I decided to try the KetoHex spray even though it’s more expensive than the other brands, and honestly, the extra cost feels worth it right from the start. The formula has the same strong active ingredients as the Dermabliss version I’ve used before — Chlorhexidine 2% and Ketoconazole 1% — but KetoHex takes it a step further with added essential fatty acids and vitamin E. Those extra ingredients help moisturize, soothe irritation, and support the skin barrier instead of just drying everything out. I also bought the KetoHex shampoo along with this spray because I want to see how well they work together as a combined treatment. Using both should give the spray a better chance to penetrate and actually fix the problem from both angles — cleansing with the shampoo first and then protecting with the spray. I haven’t been able to test it fully yet because of the cold and wet weather, but the quality of the bottle, the ingredients, and the overall vet-grade feel already make it look like the better option. This is the type of product you’d expect to see at a veterinary clinic, not just a regular pet store. For me, paying a little extra is completely worth it when the formula is stronger, more complete, and designed to actually help long-term. I’ll update the review after using both the spray and the shampoo together, but so far this feels like the right choice.

Ketohex is very easy to apply and very effective. Ketohex is 1% ketoconazole (an anti-fungal) and 2% chlorhexidine (a disinfectant and antiseptic). It is a liquid, it comes in a spray bottle, and it is reasonably priced. I have had many fungal problems over the years, and Ketohex usually clears it up in just a couple of applications. Ketohex is a veterinary product, so it is designed to soak through hair and fur. Unfortunately, it has a slightly unpleasant odor, but the odor seems to go away in about 30 minutes. Since Ketohex is a veterinary product, if you use it on yourself, you will not be using it according to directions. Use it at your own risk. Talk to your doctor about it before you use it. Be careful with it. Do not spray it on your face. Keep it out of your eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.

Excellent. My dog had a skin that popped. With in 24 hours it was clean and dried out.
