Very Good Cacao Powder!
Very good chocolate powder product! I add it to everything that needs that chocolate goodness like, our coffee, and dates. Yes, I lightly powder deglet noor dates with this. Good in avocado smoothies too! I just got to say, "Yum!"

Consumer Lab's top pick
I recent subscribed to Consumer Lab's test results [not to b confused with Consumer Reports] of the various food & health supplement products they analyze and the Good & Gather Unsweetened Cocoa Powder was rated as "Top Pick" for having low levels of lead, cadmium and arsenic - with high levels of Flavanols. And although not organic, the G&G cocoa has lower levels of metals than other cocoa listed as organic. This shows that "organic" isn't automatically a food panacea. It also has delicious taste. For about a decade I put a teaspoon of organic cocoa powder (OCP) in every cup of coffee I drink and among the 10 or so different brands of OCP I've tried, only this and the original Healthworks OCP lacked the acrid taste found in the other cocoas that would mask the chocolate taste. But when the Healthworks cocoa's taste suddenly changed for the worse I began trying different cocoa products, searching for that good (non acrid) chocolate taste now missing. And I found it with the G&G Unsweetened Cocoa Powder. However it does have strong caffeine, I now use only 0.5 teaspoon per coffee cup. NOTE: although "Dutch processed" cocoa also tastes good, perhaps even better than the G&G cocoa, the D process reduces the nutrients making it less healthy than natural cocoa powder.
