I've been considering this for a very long time! But now I own one I'm sorry I sat on the fence for so long, it's a beast of a stove and really nice craftsmanship on the build and quality materials, love it and I see it lasting for many years to come and even passing it on later down the line if looked after, the stones have a life expectancy of 13 to 15 years if used daily and cleaned and cared for, so for seasonal or multiple trips though the year I would expect to double that if not a bit more! I purchased the Nomad large stove, we will use this in the garden too on them cooler summer nights and probably cook some spuds to and pizza in the winnerwell oven. I hope this helps someone to choose, it's heavy for some but not unmanageable! Car, rv, campsites and boating camping trips if staying on the banks of the rivers and remember there's a folding version too for backing and canoeing, Enjoy!

Great Quality stove, looks great in a bell tent. Installation is fairly easy too. The firebox is very large and can take many logs for a long burn overnight.. a few things to note. Get the heat exchanger. The stove chimney pipe gets very hot +300 degrees. There is no baffle between the firebox and the chimney flu, so all the flames can go directly up when you are in full burn. This super heats the pipe. When you open the door to reload, the extra draw also does the same. Try and keep fuel to the front area. Dialling down for a long night burn is difficult, with the vent control not being refined enough. You either burn it all quick or smoke out the tent. But I have only used it once, so it could be user error. The water tank add on is very good. It keeps the water at boiling point all night. You can hear it too. Guy ropes...buy some for the spark arrestor. You need to anchor the whole stack otherwise it will wobble. The glass... the front door glass stays clear throughout. The side window blackens up within 30 minutes as it doesn’t get the same airflow to clear away the burn. When the fire is on its last draw, there is some leakage from around the door and the top cooking lid. It would be nice if these sections had a fire rope surround to help seal them up.

Very expensive for a tent stove but it is a good quality item.Easy to assemble and dissamble.Gets hot fast and no warping of the stainless steel.The stove pipe is a little wobbly but once through the tent stove jack,there are no issues.The side view glass is superb and gives a lot of ambience inside the tent when the flames are licking the inside of the glass.A little bit of smoke leaks around the top plate when first lit but disappears as soon as it starts to draw through the chimney. Decent kit but pricey.

When it arrived box was all damaged edges to stove are sharp door was loose the fire strip in the window was frayed door catch is very stiff chimney pipes very wobbly not good value for money at all

Er bringt eine schöne Wärme in mein Tipi. Auch den Wassertank habe ich noch diazugekauft. Sehr gut verarbeitet.

Stove works well, boils the kettle quickly

J'ai eu plein de poêles nomades dans ma vie car je vis une grande partie de l'année en tipi. Avec celui là je me suis fait plaisir et je n'ai aucun regret! Quelle claque d'avoir plusieurs vitres! Non franchement quelle ambiance! J'ai l'impression de revivre l'excitation de mes débuts en tipi d'il y a plusieurs années, voir le feu crépiter c'est génial! En plus avec le visu on voit mieux comment se passe le tirage et du coup on gère mieux l'arrivée d'air. Cerise sur le gâteau avec deux fenêtres comme ça ça illumine à fond les quatre coin du tipi! (Oui je sais il n'y a pas de coin dans un cercle, mais tout de même!) De plus c'est du bon inox, il ne se déforme pas trop, les tubes sont larges (9cm de diamètre) et ça espace pas mal les ramonages quasi-quotidiens des tubages de poêles nomade. Bref: très très satisfait!

worth the extra for the good quality happy with purchase! the gauge of steel used is worth it and fully welded instead of riveted like the cheap ones worth it.
