After reading the good and not so good reviews about the gloves I ...
I was looking for gloves to protect my fingers when using my mandolin. After reading the good and not so good reviews about the gloves I decide to give them a try. They work really really well for protecting my finger tips from the blade. Yes, if one tries to purposely cut into the gloves it will happen. Who will on purpose try to damage the glove while wearing them to protect ones hands. the thinking behind the idea of running a knife or screwdriver through the glove with force to see if it will tear is kind of stupid. What would not tear with force and determination. They fit like a glove, nice and snug so you have more feeling in the finger tips to know when your fingers are coming very close to the blade. Even if the gloves slides over the blade, which means that my fingers are not and that has a number of times I am not so worry that I will see red. I do not like wasting food, so now I do not waste any of the vegetables that in the past did not get sliced in my mandolin. I am still careful while wearing the gloves but I can slice what ever to the ever end of the nub. I think the gloves fit true to size but I have small hands and I like that the gloves fit snug, it allows for me the be able to feel objects and the blade before I am sorry and have cut the gloves. I bought a pair for my husband and 14 year old son to use in the workshop when using the table saw and any other blade equipment (band saw, scroll saw, grinder). It will not stop a serious accident I suspect but if it will lessen and even better yet prevent minors accidents then the gloves will have done what it claims. That is money well spent. Price of the gloves is nothing to a the cost of an emergency visit for a few stitches or shearing the finger tips off and dealing with the pain and inconvenience until it heals. These gloves are I think not meant to give you a sense of falls protection but a feeling of my hands are protected from minor carelessness. Buy these gloves and protect your hands. Have not used them on shucking oyster or anything else sharp but I sure they will serve its purpose. Did use it to pick up broken glass and was happy I did not get a piece of glass embedded in my finger. I think any one buying these gloves will not be sorry for the reasons of protecting theirfingers from danger.

Top Notch Customer Service
According to the size chart I ordered a large pair of gloves with reinforced fingers. When I got them they were a little tight and then I noticed a rip starting between the thumb and forefinger. I contacted the support link for NoCry and within an hour Charlie from NoCry reached out to me and said it was obviously a defect in the glove and offered my a new pair in size XL due to the tightness. The new pair arrived within a week and fit much better. Their customer service is second to none. I use these to clean my meat slicer. These are definitely quality gloves and if they work out like I think they will, I'm ordering the 3 pack so I'll always have a clean pair on hand.

Great way to keep your hands safe.
Fantastic gloves. After a few incidents in the kitchen with a mandolin, we decided to give these gloves a try, and we have not been disappointed. They fit even on fairly large hands, and they are very comfortable and easy to work with. These are great for keeping your hands safe from accidental cuts and scrapes while working in the kitchen. My only complaint is that I like to wear food service gloves when cooking, and I need to buy bigger ones to fit over the gloves. If I don't, the gloves get dirty easily and need to be washed frequently.

Perfect gloves for the kitchen
Perfect for cutting veggies, fruit or meat and grating cheese. These gloves are sturdy but flexible and they seem pretty thick. The knife kinda snags the glove it doesn’t cut through and saves your fingers. Great addition to your kitchen if you tend to cut yourself while cutting items in the kitchen. But I’m sure you could also use at work when using an exacto knife. Also easy to clean. I just pop them in the wash and air dry them and the are good as new

Great protection!
Wonderful cut resistant gloves for food prep. I treated myself to some new assorted high quality knives and I really needed these. While using my new knives I cut myself more than the food I was preparing. Lol! I decided I needed some protection from myself and purchased these cut resistant gloves. They fit just fine(unisex) and are protecting my hands and fingers thank heavens. Great value, cheaper than a big box of bandaids!

Save you hands
Use these almost daily. After use I toss it in the wash. No problems. They have a tight fit and allow good finger dexterity. Had stitches once from a mandolin cut. Never again. These things are awesome.

Fabulous gloves and service!
I've only used the gloves in the kitchen, but they've easily protected me against my brand-new sharper-than-sharp Japanese knife! The only issue (and it's barely an issue) is that the white fabric of the three reinforced fingers is easily discolored by vegetable juices. Slicing tomatoes turned them pink. Rinsing didn't help much, but washing cleaned them well. Unless you wash them after every use, be prepared for pink fingers. But as I said, this is of negligible concern. The pair I received didn't quite fit, but the company was extremely responsive, and immediately send a larger pair. If only every company had customer service like NoCry!

You Get What You Pay For
After receiving two emails from the company, I felt compelled to write a review. One of the main reasons is because I read a lot of reviews when purchasing items and since 50% of my shopping is done on Amazon I want to give my honest and non-bias opinion on my experience; as I rely on others for the same. To be straight, I have been beginning to see a pattern in which some products (good & bad) always seem to be on the first page of searches and sometimes even hold the title as being Amazon's #1 Best Seller; such as these NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves. Lately, my gutt has been warning me that some of these products representing Amazon's best are truly nothing more than a gimmick. Perhaps, it’s because they pay an additional amount of their sales to allow Amazon to warehouse the items making it that much faster to get to our door step. Not exactly sure, but I feel that after years of purchasing, I have been noticing this trend occur much more over the past couple of years. Unfortunately in this case, I, like you followed the crowd and selected what product received the most accolades. Regarding NoCry Gloves; which are made from thin light material; which at first can be a bit intimidating since some reviews have mentioned cutting into the gloves with a knife. Quite frankly I was a bit concerned when using my mandoline to slice some veggies and for good reason. My first and last experience I had wasn't the best; as the tip of the fingers made contact with the mandoline blade; which wouldn't have happened if I didn't have the gloves on. What happened exactly was, when the gloves were close enough the amount of room between my fingers and the gloves (spacing) was enough to snag and caught the fabric tearing the fabric of the glove. It didn't rip the glove or harm my finger, but it was enough to know that I would never have complete confidence that these gloves would protect my fingers. Moreover, because the fabric allows room to be caught on items; such as a mandoline, one most tread with caution when wearing them and not "assume" these gloves are going to protect you. I know what you are thinking, the gloves must have been two small, right? They actually fit extremely snug around the hands and it was only at the fingers were there is some wiggle room. Maybe they should have more than just two sizes; as we can’t expect everyone to have the same size hands, fingers, nails, etc. From past experience, I do know there are gloves out there that can full protect your hands and they are not as light and a bit more expensive, but definitely my next option for using my mandolin on certain foods that the prongs holding device the mandoline had included. Bottom-line and based on the seller’s emails, I am sure they will refund you the money and yeah that's nice.. But if you are like me, it's not about the refund; as much as it is having made the right purchase for a good product with actual good reviews to purchase and not have to waste any further time processing a return and trying on another pair of gloves. QUICK UPDATE: Received an email from a very humble and polite Manager for the company. Customer service for this company is on par, as that was never the issue. The main issue; which they already know about is the stitching for the finger-tips. "Fingertips are a weak spot for our gloves as you also experienced. I do hope we manage to improve it in near future." It's kind of a big deal in my opinion since this issue can cause your finger to get snagged on slicing machines or in my case a mandoline.
