This thing is a game changer. I’ve used the Ooni Karu 12 several times now and every pizza has come out with that perfect, wood-fired taste — crispy crust, soft inside, and bubbling cheese in under 90 seconds. Heats up quick (20-25 minutes tops with wood or lump charcoal), and the multi-fuel option is great depending on how much time I’ve got. I usually use wood for flavor, but it’s nice being able to switch to gas with the attachment when I want a quicker setup. Build quality is rock solid — stainless steel body holds heat well, and the insulation actually works. It’s lightweight enough to move around but doesn’t feel cheap at all. Once you get the hang of turning and launching the dough, it’s smooth sailing. Just be ready — this oven runs hot and fast. If you’re into pizza or want something that’s fun for family nights, this is totally worth the investment. You’ll stop ordering delivery after your first pie.

Love it!! Woodfired can be a little messier than i like. Went ahead and got the gas adapter to make it cleaner. It heats up fairly quickly. And cooks pizza in less than 2 minutes! Well made and easy to complete. Although it was expensive it is very sturdy and well made

Excellent pizza oven. Seems to be the number one choice of my family, as both my kids have them, and I finally broke down and bought one. Performs as advertised either wood or gas. The wood works for four people as it’s easy to watch, if I have a bigger crowd, I use gas, as it’s easier to control temperature. Highly recommend, should’ve bought this five years ago.

Let me just say this: the Ooni Karu 12 is the closest I’ll ever get to owning a wood-fired pizza restaurant — and honestly, that’s fine by me. Set-up was so simple even my husband didn’t overcomplicate it (miracle). It heats up fast, cooks pizzas in literally 60 seconds, and makes me feel like a weekday dinner goddess without destroying my kitchen. We cheat and use premade dough (because life), toss on whatever toppings haven’t expired, and boom — pizza night that actually feels fun instead of “ugh, what’s for dinner again?” It’s become a full family event. Kids love watching it cook, I love not using the oven, and my husband thinks he’s some kind of pizza chef now. Win-win-win. If you’ve got a backyard and a family that eats, this thing is a no-brainer. You’ll never look at frozen pizza the same again.

Easy to assemble - works good once you figure out how to cook pizza with an open flame. Keeping the wood going is a pain in the butt and the space to add the wood is tiny .... If you think you might need a bigger pizza oven ...trust me YOU NEED A BIGGER ONE .

The Ooni pizza maker is easy and fun to use. It makes delicious pizza, though I’m still perfecting my technique — but that’s part of the fun. If you approach it with the right mindset, the learning curve becomes an enjoyable journey. It’s new, it takes a little practice, but it’s absolutely worth it.

The quality of this product is first rate. Assembly is simple and quick and performed with the confidence that the engineering of the product is of the highest standard such that everything is present, well explained and fits without any problems. The function of the product is equally impressive. At zero degrees C, I was able to place the oven in the garden and cook the best homemade pizzas I’ve ever had. Once up to temperature it takes literally three minutes or less to cook the finest homemade freshly prepared pizza using freshly kneaded dough. The only word of warning is have for anyone using this product is that it is really rather heavy, weighing in at about 22 Kg. This is entirely a consequence of its exemplary build quality and use of excellent materials. However it does mean that for a portable pizza oven, you’d not really want to have to walk far with it.

Je suis très satisfait de ce four à pizza. Il n’est pas trop encombrant, donc facile à installer dehors sans prendre de place. J’ai aussi acheté le sac de protection, bien pratique pour le ranger et le protéger des intempéries, ça prolonge clairement sa durée de vie. Au niveau de l’utilisation, rien à dire : il chauffe vite et permet de cuire une pizza jusqu’à 33 cm. La cuisson est ultra-rapide, en quelques minutes on obtient une pâte bien croustillante et une garniture parfaitement cuite, comme au restaurant. Ce que j’apprécie aussi, c’est qu’il est sécuritaire : stable, bien conçu, avec des matériaux qui inspirent confiance. Même quand il est très chaud, on sent qu’il a été pensé pour limiter les risques, à condition bien sûr de rester prudent et de l’utiliser dans de bonnes conditions à l’extérieur. En résumé, c’est un four pratique, sûr et convivial, parfait pour des soirées pizzas réussies en famille ou entre amis. Je recommande sans hésiter !
