After purchasing the butterfly kite that was terrible, I decided to follow my husband's lead and try out a triangle kite. Except, I wanted to go bigger and have a long tail. We have reels with 500' of string, so I wanted the kite to be seen from far away. This kite is awesome - it's easy to assemble, it launches great, and flies wonderfully. I got so many compliments on it at the beach. I definitely recommend this kite!

I took the kite out after assembling, only to be disapointed because the kite was flying unstable. Fluttering on the wings. I immediately stopped flying. I didn't add the tail yet.After reviewing the design, all spars insert into one another loosely, and easily come-apart making them weak, so you'll want to cement them together with epoxy to stiffen them up.It's an unstable flying kite because the 'A' spars are too short and mounted too low. You'll want to undo the fabric seam with a seam ripper, then push the spar all the way to the tip of the delta, then lengthen the spar by going to the hobby store and getting something compatible, then epoxy this so it remains rigid.For such a large kite with high performance, I thought it would be well thought it out in areas like this to increase lift and efficiency. I would like if they offered longer spars because I am having trouble finding them and have to wait to fly my kite until I get all these items fixed.

This kite is MASSIVE! It was easy to set up. If you plan to use the tail, be sure to give yourself 100 feet of clearance. Especially if you're at the beach. Also, this is NOT for children. It REALLY pulls hard. Reeling it back in was not easy. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Most fun I've had from a kite, granted this is my first big kite, previous kits are like tiny 3 footer that doesn't fly well in low wind.This one, Ill tell ya, it kind of took off on its own if I just have it in launch position on the ground.Flies great and stable. Have not flown it with the 99feet tail yet, will try it tonight. It's really really long.

I like the kite it seems like it's made of good tough material but the crose pole broke within a hour of flying will update once I talk to customer service.

Easy to use and worked really well.
