I'm not sure how many people are likely to need this adaptor at the end of 2024, but if you've got a use case it's pretty good. I have a use case - providing audio from my phone to different effects boxes - but that's a bit niche. It's well made - slimline metal cases on short braided cables - and unlike one I've tried before, plugging/unplugging headphones in one socket while listening to the other doesn't cause any clicks, pops or volume changes. The outputs aren't individually buffered though, so depending on what you plug in you'll potentially get different results. That's a shame, buffering the outputs is something that you can do with an active multi-output adaptor like this (because it's getting power from the USB C port) but I've not found any to date that do this. Sound quality is fine - it's a common USB C DAC, which Windows identifies as KM B2 AUX - so you can get 16-bit, 48KHz audio from it which is good enough for most of us. If you're the sort of person who wants 24-bit, 96KHz audio then you already know this isn't going to be for you! All in - a good adaptor, well made, with (sadly) few uses for its raison d'être.

Doesn't work. You can see the image has a microphone and an audio instead of two audio icons. I can't even return it because I bought it to go on an extended trip abroad to share with my partner and won't be back in time to return. Waste of money.

The Avigers 2-in-1 USB C to 3.5mm headphone adapter and PD 60W charger is well made, it has nylon braided twin cables, nylon strain reliefs and there are metal shells around the connectors. I tested this adapter using my Samsung phone and Samsung earphones (which have volume controls). The audio quality was good, although it did appear to sound a slightly duller than the adapter without the power cable, there was no discernible noise and it worked well with mp3 and Flac files. It was also great with 24-bit 96KHz audio sample files downloaded from the internet. I did notice that the volume controls on my earphones acted differently to the adapter without a power connector, short presses on the volume control acted as skip track buttons and long presses acted as actual volume controls. I might have been able to change that feature in my phone, but I was just doing a comparison here. Making an outgoing call with this adapter worked fine, but the receiver reported hearing some noise at their end. Where this adapter fails and the reason for the low score, is when it comes to fast charging. I noticed poor charging rates on my phone using leads and chargers that I have tested for performance, so I decided to stick my USB tester on this cable and check the PD support. According to the test meter it only supports 5V at 3A, I would even question that result, because given the setup and the charge state of my phone, I would have expected currents in the region of 3-4 Amps. I was getting less than 1 Amp. The plus point though, is that it does a good job of isolating the audio from any charging noise, I could not detect any difference in audio quality when it was being used to charge my phone and I tried a few chargers. Update: After repeating the charge test, I was still getting a charge current of 1A, however the charging voltage had dropped from 5V to 4.75V, indicating that 1A is the maximum current that this adapter will charge at.

Ich suchte nach einem Adapter, damit auf dem iPad mit USB C Anschluss zwei Kopfhörer angeschlossen werden können. Dieser Adapter macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Kabel wirkt stabil und er funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Sound auf den beiden Kopfhörern ist gut! Der Preis ist auch absolut in Ordnung, daher eine klare Empfehlung!

Ottimo adattatore audio! L’ho acquistato per collegare le cuffie con jack da 3.5mm al mio smartphone USB-C e funziona perfettamente. Il suono è chiaro, senza interferenze o disturbi, e il chip integrato sembra davvero fare la differenza nella qualità audio. Comodissima anche la possibilità di utilizzare contemporaneamente la porta USB-C per la ricarica e il jack per l’audio, ideale per viaggi o lunghe chiamate. Compatibile al 100% con il mio dispositivo (l’ho testato su iPhone 15 Pro e su un Samsung Galaxy) e subito riconosciuto, senza bisogno di configurazioni. Compatto, leggero e solido: un accessorio piccolo ma utilissimo da avere sempre con sé. Consigliato!

Solicité este adaptador porque cuando realizamos viajes con los niños, se me hacía insoportable tener una tablet justo detrás de mí con una película para amenizarles el viaje, (a ellos les entretenía, pero a mí me volvía loco). La cuestión es que los auriculares de los peques tienen conectores jack de 3,5 mm y la tablet nueva ya viene sin ese tipo de conector de audio, aunque sí tiene esa salida mediante USB tipo C. Como los niños son dos, este dispositivo es perfecto para darle sonido a sus auriculares, sin que los papás tengamos que “sufrir” innecesariamente. Lo hemos probado con tablet y smartphone y las dos parejas de auriculares y el funcionamiento es perfecto, sin apreciarse ninguna pérdida de calidad en el sonido. Y hablando de calidad, la de este adaptador-repartidor es buena: los conectores hembra tienen su baño de oro y los cables su recubrimiento textil de nailon con un trenzado fino que les confiere una buena protección, aunque su grosor es bastante menor que otro modelo que compré, pero con conector jack macho en lugar del Tipo C, para la tablet anterior. Estéticamente resulta bonito y su diseño tira más hacia lo elegante que hacia lo llamativo, aunque no sea algo muy importante, porque no deja de ser un cable adaptador-repartidor, cuya función principal no es la de decorar. Su longitud total, incluyendo los conectores, es de 33,5 cm. Fue un producto que recibí gratuitamente a través de Amazon Vine, pero 9 €, me parece un precio razonable y una inversión más que justificada, especialmente, para evitar esas situaciones tan incómodas que sufrimos los padres cuando viajamos con la “tropa” y una tablet. No diría que es un producto recomendable: diría que es un producto imprescindible, por lo menos, para casos como el mío.

L'adattatore da USB-C a doppio jack d'uscita cuffie (e/o speaker) arriva in una bustina richiudibile. Il prodotto è realizzato in modo eccellente, con cavo intrecciato e connettori in metallo. La qualità dell'audio è buona, ed entrambi i connettori funzionano senza problemi o rumori di fondo, a differenza d'altri modelli d'adattatore da USB-C a jack provati in passato con pessimi risultati. CONCLUSIONI Prodotto di buona qualità e molto utile per connettere direttamente smartphone, tablet e PC sprovvisti di jack a dispositivi con jack audio hi-fi e cuffie di buon livello, senza la necessità di utilizzare ricevitori Bluetooth.
