Awesome scaffold! Takes two people to carry it; but one person can move it around once set up.
This Aluminum Scaffold Tower Rolling Adjustable Work Platform, with Hatch Deck and Guard Rail is great for DIY or a small business that does indoor residential work. It fit in our hallway and allowed for easier ceiling patching of a long crack that would have been annoying to keep moving a ladder to reach. It also fit in our small 6' x 6' foyer which has tall 12'5' ceilings. It made our DIY updates possible (painting, moldings, lights). While on the expensive side, it seemed worth it to avoid anyone from falling off a ladder, and allowing 2 people (with combined weight under 330 lbs) to work together at the same time (e.g., installing a light fixture). The scaffolding felt secure whether it was holding one or two people at a time. The scaffold sides don't budge at all on the lower settings, they barely move even at the 2nd highest level, but you can feel a bit of wiggle when it's fully telescoped to the highest setting. The ladders on the sides are telescoping, allowing you can raise and lower the platform height, as well as the height levels for the railings. There are limitations on where the platform can be put (it should only get put on the two rungs that don't have the telescoping release buttons on the side. One of these is the lowest rung; the other is the 4th rung from the top). With the telescoping feature, I think this allows for about 5 different height settings for the platform. I reached out to the company about the height options for the platform, since it wasn't clear from the instruction manual. They were very responsive and confirmed my assumption that on the lowest couple of heights, the bottom metal bars will not be able to attach the platform to the ladders, so the platform just rests on top of the ladder rungs). It did still feel sturdy even without the additional bar attachment at those lowest levels. At higher levels, the metal bars under the platform clip onto braces on the ladder. Some things are easily done by one person, and some things are easier with 2 people: - Carrying the scaffold (e.g., up stairs, off a truck, etc.) will need two people. I would guess it's around100lbs. - If rolling this around to a new location, that only needs one person. -Changing the height is easier with 2 people, but can be done by 1 person: The telescoping ladder works best with 2 people to change the height, as both sides to go up and down at the same time if the platform is on (the platform can't stretch to accommodate one side going up at a time!). However, if it's just one person changing the height, you can remove the platform and railings and raise/lower one side at a time, then put the platform and railings back on. This is fine if it's at a lower level, but more challenging if you raised it to the highest setting.

Sturdy, but allow some time for assembly
Product is sturdy. Personally, I added lock washers to prevent any nuts becoming loose after multiple uses. Assembly instructions included, but allow some time to follow the instructions.

Strong, sturdy, and durable. Probably best for home use, and not industrial use
For almost $1,400, this scaffold had better be an excellent scaffold tower. Luckily, it is, though its lack of certifications beyond a listed EN1004 certification, make it only suitable for use in homes and houses and not industrial workplaces. This scaffolding is very strong and sturdy, and once you've put it together, it feels supportive. Construction, putting it together, takes a while, but once you've put all the pieces together it can pretty easily be unfolded and folded back up with minimal touching with tools. It's not super heavy since it's made of aluminum, though it still weighs a good 70 pounds or so. It does take a good hour or so to assemble the first time, and the instructions work but I definitely could have done with more guidance on a few pieces - more and more detailed images would have made assembly a less fiddly process. It lists a max 300 lbs. weight limit, and when sticking to that weight, it feels more than secure enough. This scaffolding lists EN1004 certification, but I'm not so sure about that; I don't make any claims either way but it doesn't really look like the certified ones I've worked with so far. It also lists "500 Lbs Duty Rate" in the title which as far as I'm aware isn't a thing at all, EN1004 has multiple levels but the highest is 200 kg, which would be about 440 lbs. It also lists 300 pounds max weight, which I would stick with. I'd probably keep this for use at home, make sure you stay under about 300 lbs., and don't plan to use this anywhere that you need or would want employee insurance of any kind. It's hard to say if this is a good value for the money; if you need scaffolding, this is definitely a good value. If you what you need to do can be done with just want a ladder, you will probably be better off just getting a ladder. * I only review things that I personally use myself and keep using often. * I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. * I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. * I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, and everything in between. * If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. * And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Sturdy scaffold tower that makes high jobs much easier
I bought this 18-foot aluminum scaffold tower for home projects, and it’s been a big help. I mainly use it for painting, ceiling work, and installing lights, and it feels much safer than balancing on ladders. The aluminum frame is solid but not overly heavy, so two people can move and assemble it without too much trouble. The rolling wheels are smooth and lock securely, which makes repositioning easy while still feeling stable when you’re working. I really like the adjustable platforms and the hatch deck—it makes climbing up and down much safer. The guard rails add peace of mind when you’re working higher up. Assembly takes some time the first go-around, but once you understand how the pieces fit, it gets easier. The 500 lb weight rating feels accurate, and the tower doesn’t wobble when set up correctly on a flat surface. Overall, this scaffold tower is a solid choice for DIYers or light professional work. It’s not cheap, but it saves time, feels safe, and is much more comfortable than a ladder for longer jobs.
