I purchased this scooter for my 9yr old grandson, after six months it stopped working. Lydia in customer service worked closely with us. She was very responsive. She sent a new controller, that didn’t work, so she shipped a new battery. Turns out the battery was defective. Lydia was very patient and helpful. The scooter is up and running. My cousin has told me countless times about the envious glances he receives as he effortlessly glides by on his scooter, turning heads left and right.The 7-mile range of this scooter is more than sufficient for his daily commutes between classes, study sessions at the library, and meetups with friends. Plus, the cruise mode feature adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing him to maintain a steady speed without constantly adjusting the throttle.

Bought this for my son for Christmas over a year ago. He rode it all last summer but towards the end of riding season it quit working and showed an "E5" error. A quick email to GoTrax support confirmed that the error was in the controller and that it was indeed the reason why the scooter stopped working. Kayla in customer support was very helpful and sent me a replacement controller at no charge (delivery pending as of the time of this writing). A bit disappointed that the scooter didn't make it a full year before not working but very happy with the level of service I received.

Great product and a really good customer service. I bought 2 for my 8 and 6 year old and it carries them well even in inclined roads.We had an issue with one and Fiona from their customer service was very fast at getting the parts we needed via warranty, to have the scooter working.Battery lasts well for more than 4 hours.Light at the front shines well at night.Great value for money, highly recommended a porter for children and youth kids.

**********LATEST UPDATE********* VERY DISPLEASED**********These scooters appear to be really well made but they are just not built to last. We own two of these (one is used by a 6/7 year old, the other a 8/9 year old). Both scooters have had their issues, now one is fully unfunctional and appeared to be burning within the console/battery connection.After already replacing the tires on both scooters, and one of the handle bar consoles, today my sons scooter had an error E3....I looked up the error (= handlebar failure) and it said to remove the handle bars and clean off the connection between the console and the battery, if this does not work, replace the console. While I unscrewed the console, I smelled burning plastic and the connection between the battery and the console was smoking.Needless to say, the scooter no longer functions at all. So after 5 months, the tires needed replaced, the motor wheel on one needed replaced, a handle bar console on the other needed replaced, and now one of the scooters was burning and does not function.I want to love these scooters, because my boys love these scooters, but for the price they do not seem to be built for children who use them daily.*******UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST BELOW********Customer service was amazing, and GoTrax shipped me all new parts to correct all of the issues that I had.Excellent response time and service!*********ORIGINAL POST BELOW*********I purchased two of these scooters for my children. First I would like to say the scooters are pretty awesome, my kids love them. I have two structural issues with the scooters. First, the rear wheels of the scooters wear out extremely fast. One of my sons wore completely through the rear wear in under 2 months. The scooter not bumps like crazy and is super noisy. My other son definitely has signs of flat portions on the rear wheel which also leads to bumps. One of the springs in the accelerator buttons has also broken and the push button accelerator needs to be manually lifted to disengage the power...seems like it can get pretty dangerous if he needs to stop fast and forgets the accelerator needs disengaged. The main issue is in fact the material of the rear wheels, really disappointing for a product which is not cheap.

This was a Christmas gift for our son. It worked for about today days and stopped working. We contacted GoTrax Customer support and Lydia responded quickly and efficiently. We had a replacement console for our scooter in about 2 weeks thanks to Lydia. It now works great and he loves the scooters speed!
