Make sure you understand what type of kimchi this is
This tastes great and personally, I love it. But this is not the kind of kimchi you find as side condiments. It isn't crisp or whitish. This is more the kind you would find in a stew like kimchi-jjigae. It is softer and boiled with the spices really stewed in and redder. Some of the comments seem to show an expectation of the other type so make sure you know what you're getting. The Amazon page also says this is 'vegetarian' although it most certainly is not. It contains shrimp and anchovies. I love how this tastes but some people in the comments are being thrown off by the unexpected taste.

Awesome as a delivery kimchi brand.
First of all, i’m an American and haven’t seen nor tasted kimchi before until now, so take that my words mean barely a grain a salt. But, this is good kimchi, i like the spice and the sweet/sourness of the kimchi, along with the combined flavor of my own cooked meat, i had to restrain myself from eating the whole can cause i only bought one, aside from that fact the kimchi is very watery, i drained most of the liquid but left some as to keep more flavor. But as i mentioned in the title, this is good for delivery kimchi brand, regardless of how good a amazon kimchi can be, i believe in the fact that if you go to the country yourself and buy/eat the traditional kimchi there, you will open yourself up to a whole world of kimchi cuisine which may or may not be better than this. So for this to be as good as it is, i feel more motivated to go try out the different kinds of kimchi cuisine in korea and more beyond that, as this gave me high expectations. So thank you.

Handy and convenient.
Canned kimchi is a new thing to me. It’s shelf stable and has a decent flavor. The serving size s decent and because it’s shelf stable the serving size is perfect for a quick steamed rice and kimchi snack. Or supplement with a nice ramen dish. While not the most flavorful it is a handy kitchen stable to have in case you need a smaller supply. I will use this again in the future. Texture and taste make this a decent kitchen use item. Highly suggested.

For canned Kimchi, pretty good
I love Kimchi. When I lived near Orlando I bought big containers of Kimchi at the Asian Market. Always fresh and delicious. In NC, I had to settle for Kings Kimchi which was pretty good. Then our local markets changed to a horrible different brand. I gave this Napa Kimchi a shot. Canned Kimchi sounds horrible, but, it was good. I opened it and figured I’d just try a little and save the rest for tomorrow. I ate the whole can. Is this the best? No. Is this the best when you can’t buy Kimchi? Yes. It excellent compared to some of the **** that super markets sell. It’s not real spicy, which is unfortunate. It doesn’t have a canned taste. Yes, it’s soft, no crunch. But for canned Kimchi, its pretty good. I’ll definitely buy more. It doesn’t taste like real fresh Kimchi, but never the less, it’s good. It has low calories, and lots of good ingredients. Don’t buy this and think it’s what fresh Kimchi tastes like. It’s not even close. But if your a Kimchiholic, it’s good and satisfies your desires.

Just ok
Flavor was OK. Pretty watered down. Maybe better if in a soup.

Delicious Canned Kimchi
I was a little skeptical of how canned kimchi would be compared to the ones sold in jars, so I was pleasantly impressed when I tried it. Of the few different jarred kimchi brands I have tried, I much prefer this over them. All of the flavors you expect from kimchi are there and nicely balanced. Some other reviewers complained about the tenderness of the cabbage. While it is not crunchy, I wouldn’t describe it as “mushy” like others have. It’s tender, with a slight crisp. I enjoy it more this way. It does seem a bit overpriced ($14 for 4 small cans), but you get what you pay for. I will definitely be purchasing this again, and recommend it to those looking for a tasty store bought kimchi.
