I am a big fan of spiced rums but many I've tried recently have been too sweet. Not the case with this one - nice smooth flavour with a soft hint of spice without being too sweet. I like it with cola, my husband enjoys it neat. I would love it more if it was a couple of quid cheaper though!

Best rum!
This is simply outstanding! The complexity of flavour, the depth, sweetness ( not overpowering but making it so easy to drink it neat) I've tried many but this is my top three and definitely best for the price!

Love the stuff, increasingly hard to find. My favourite rum, probably *too* nice and goes down a little too easy.

Get this, get this now!
My favorite Rum. Forget Captain Morgan's or Sailor Jerry's, this is the spiced rum that you need in your life. Brilliant taste, with or without a mixer (lemonade, coke or ginger beer go great) and a few scoops of ice. I even managed to convert a hardcore JD drinker over to spiced rum using this stuff. It's a shame it's not served in alot of bars.

A nice gold rum with a stronger hint of vanilla and zest
A great spiced rum. No way near as sickly as captain Morgan and has a far superior taste collection. Slightly over flavoured with vanilla and zest than I would have preferred but I I found this balanced well mixed with pepsi max. Be warned there is a massive difference between old j spiced and old j gold spiced. This variant is a decent gold rum with flavours of vanilla and zest whilst the old j spiced tastes like someone dropped a full bottle of bargain priced vanilla extract into the bottle.
