Great storage bag. Has held up really well over the years!
Great storage bag. Has held up really well over the years! Zipper still works and not issues and large enough to store the essentials when riding, like ID, credit card, tools, etc. Easy to attach to the bike and take off if needed, although mine has always stayed on the bike and has never given me a slick of trouble.

Perfect Size
Needed a larger than normal underseat pack for my gear. Most packs that claim to be large are woefully undersized. I cycle 25 miles a day 5 days a week and need to carry a few extra items. This pack, even without the lower portion expanded, is perfect. I can get 2 700cx35 tubes, tool kit, several pairs of nitrile gloves, keys, sunblock, cash and tire levers. It's not even stuffed yet. If I ever need to expand the bottom, it's available. Zippers are heavier than other packs. That's a plus..This pack tucks up snug under a normal hybrid seat and doesn't hit my legs when riding. The light mount is as wide as the pack, so, small clip-on lights slide side to side. Easily solved with a couple of zip ties or rivets. The pack is slanted causing the light to point slightly upward. A wedge of plastic solved the dilemma. I suspected it wasn't waterproof. I used Scotchguard outdoor waterproofing spray ( 2 coats) and it worked great. Rode several miles in the rain with no water intrusion.I know it sounds like a lot of mods to make it work, but for the size and price, it's worth it.

Great bag with plenty room!
This is my second bag on a second bike. I've had the first one for over a year and it's still in great condition and I can easily fit everything I need plus more. Then there's the zipper you can unzip when needed for more room. Super easy to install as well.

A Good Example of Its Type
Wedge bags are mostly alike, but the Bushwhacker does have plastic inserts along the bottom and top panels to maintain structural integrity, and it also has a loop on the bottom of the bag to run the strap through and minimize movement of the bag. These are very helpful features.I'm able to fit a Topeak Alien II tool kit, a can of bicycle Fix-A-Flat (oddly, Amazon doesn't carry this product--I have to get it at Wal-Mart), a conventional multi-tool, a 4.5mm t-handle hex wrench, flat repair kit, a Motorola Razr smartphone and a few other odds and ends in the bag. I only have to unzip the bottom to expand about another inch beyond its normal size.I'm very happy with this product, and it's superior to its predecessor. One small note is that when the bag is snugged up under the seat, the clip strap for a taillight is angled up, and that might not work for all riders. If you want your taillight's beam firing out parallel with the seat, you're going to have some problems.

Very good value for a very big seat bag
At first I thought this bag was a lower cost version of the large size BH brand bag, one of which I already own. They look nearly identical in the photos, except for the reflective stripe being a bit different. However, when I received the Bushwhacker bag I found it to be much larger than the BH bag, it's more like an extra large size. That was OK for me because I wanted a big bag for my mountain bike. Even with the large size, this bag still works with my dropper seat post if I attach it loosely to the post. This bag may be too big for others though, especially on a road bike. The only other difference I see is the Bushwhacker is a bit more "crumpled" than the BH on the sides and doesn't have as clean a look. It's not because of the fabric, that appears identical on both bags. The BH seems to have an insert on the sides, which the Bushwhacker lacks. Most everything else is nearly identical.

Surprised
I got a variety of Bushwacker bags to try out and had very low expectations for both quality and fit. Well, they fit several of my bikes surprisingly well and am impressed with the construction. With this one, I don’t see the expandable aspect of it being all that useful for me as it doesn’t seem to stay put very well when expanded. I do really like it in its small version though. Good affordable bags to stash a puffy or lock or tools or whatever

Medium is small in my opinion
It’s fine - decently made and what can I expect for the price ? The 3m strip is highly reflective and I do like the fact that the rear light clips on.
