My hair has natural waves that can sometimes look frizzy. This product helps smooth and create uniform curls. It heats up well and I like the heat boost option. I deducted one star because the location of the temperature setting is directly where my hand sits and sometimes changes the rotating temperature setting. Nothing drastic but a little annoying.

Good for the price, sometimes it has an off smell though and when I place it on the counter, it’s has a little plastic piece that is supposed to prevent it from the barrel touching the surface but it only works idk unplug it and the weight of the cord allows it to use that little built in kickstand. If I’m actually using it and trying to put it down for a minute, it just tilts forward and the hot barrel touches the counter…so the design is not great for actual functionality. Also I saw people complain about their hair getting caught from the little ridge at the end of the barrel when they’re letting their hair off the curler and I can confirm it’s pretty annoying :) sometimes my hair will just slide ride off of it but a lot of times it gets snagged and kind of messes up the curl. I had a purple conair wand forever and I was trying to buy the same one when I found this one, and honestly if you can find that one then I’d skip this model but for the price it does its job.

I saw that this wand had great reviews and I went for it. It is absolutely perfect for the price. I am a beginner and found it a bit difficult to use at first. Practice makes perfect though. Can’t beat the price.
