Perfect Pocket Fuel for Marathon Training and Race Day! 🏃♀️🍓⚡
I’m officially obsessed with CLIF BLOKS! These little chews were my not-so-secret weapon while training for my marathon and during the race itself. They're seriously the perfect mix of tasty, convenient, and effective. First off, let’s talk about the taste — they’re actually yummy. Like, I-look-forward-to-my-fuel-stop yummy. Each chew has a nice texture (not sticky or weirdly gooey), and they’re way less messy than those drippy energy gels. No sticky hands, no fuss — just pop a few in your mouth and keep running. I kept a few in my pocket, and they didn’t melt or turn into a weird science experiment halfway through my run. Major win. I also love that the variety pack includes options with and without caffeine, and some with extra sodium for those sweaty, long runs. It’s like a fuel buffet, and I can pick what I need based on my workout or race plan. Plus, being non-GMO and plant-based makes me feel even better about fueling with them. And okay — the box they come in? It’s oddly satisfying. Perfectly sized, sturdy, and the top opens and closes like a little snack treasure chest. It keeps everything so tidy and organized in my pantry. Weirdly one of my favorite parts. 😂 If you’re training for a long-distance event, or just want a quick, portable energy source that doesn’t taste like regret, give these a try. Your legs (and taste buds) will thank you. 🙌

My Cycling Nutrition
I use these all the time on shorter rides where you need something more than just a sports drink, but not a heavy energy bar. Great taste, easy to dispense while in the middle of the ride. Even in the warmest weather they don't get too sticky. Bonus if you are in need of caffeine, which a few flavors include.

Favorite for long runs
My go-to for long runs. Flavors are good and haven't caused any stomach issues during a run. Little pricey but comparable to the gels

The best energy supplement imaginable—other competitors can’t compete with this.
Pros: Digests fast; convenient to store in your pocket and not slimy. great for long and heavy workouts, heavy lifting, long hour shifts, run rucking, running etc. The caffeine content in some of these is comparable to high-stim pre-workouts. (I have a 400–500 mg tolerance, and these babies hit with an intense head rush, so be very careful when stacking.) +increased probability of PR Cons: the taste and texture is comparable to pectin gummy candies and not gelatin so it does stick to your teeth horridly. but you can chew and swallow the big chunks and it digests all the same. if you care about the taste then its somewhat decent, but if you care about the result, it should be excellent for you. -increased risk of cavities

previously using gels but I found this works best for me in endurance races (ultra trail runs, bike). Value for money as they are about sgd2.70 for 200 calories which I consume every 30 to 45 minutes. also found them easy to eat vs gels which are sticky/messy. for drink powder you got to carry the mix and mix it with water. didn't cause any stomach upsets. tried tailwind, gu roctane/ hammer gels but like these more.
