Great little bag for the money.
I purchased this with the purpose of having it be an everyday work bag. I have had it for about a week now and I have to say I am pretty happy with it. It fits far more than I thought it would. On the inside there are two pouches on the back panel. I have an iPad mini in a dodo case molskine looking case (which are great) and it slips in the the larger bottom pocket beautifully. Tight enough to stay put, but not so tight I have to fight with it. Top pocket works great for sandwiches or lunch items, but they will fall out if you move the bag around too much. The front top pocket is great. The little bungies fit charger cords and my LED flashlight and a backup carry knife. The lower pocket was a little bit of a disappointment. For some reason I envisioned there to be sort of a secretarial area for a couple pens or a journal. This is not the case and I am sure I just missed that part being that I watched a lot of youtube videos on other bags and probably had it stuck in my head. It is just a wide open pocket for general storage. I put my headphones (full ear) and a paper back in there easy. The zipper pocket and slide pouch on the inside front panel are nice to have as well. Just the right amount of storage for this bag to keep some items secure from flopping around in the main compartment. I have 2 storage drives that I keep in the zipper pouch and there is plenty of bag/cushion to make me feel comfortable about impacts. there is also a compression strap over these pockets to help keep everything in place. With everything I have described already in the bag for items, I was able to fold my Carhartt Mechanics style lightweight jacket and put it in the main compartment with ease. The storage in this bag will surprise you.The sling itself works great. Clip is solid and easy to use. It is very accommodating for adjustability. I looked at a lot of videos online for much more expensive bags, but couldn't justify the cost. I am happy with my purchase, especially at this price. I am replacing my timbuk2 large messenger bag with this for EDC because my 17" laptop doesn't need to be with me. It has been great to no lug that thing around. This VVV is much more compact and comfortable because even though it is a sling, it is centered on your back if you have it adjusted right, and that takes away the easy throw it over one shoulder action that messes with you after a while if you hold a lot of weight.I am 6' tall and about 225lbs. It does look just slightly small on me but I don't mind it, because it keeps it from being intrusive to movement like my messenger was. this thing feels like you aren't even wearing it in comparison.I would absolutely recommend this bag to anyone, for the price, it is an exceptional deal. I want to take it everywhere I go.

Very nice, lots of pockets
As many people have mentioned, this is a copy of Maxpedition's sling bag. I think the Maxpedition's sling bag goes over your left shoulder, but this one goes over the right. Some people have said that over the left shoulder is better for right-handed people who want to open-carry a handgun. But I got this bag to carry all the juice and snacks for our upcoming trip to the Disney World so I doubt that'll be an issue for me...Although the design is (more or less) the same, two main differences are, (1) Maxpedition uses higher grade materials that is about twice as durable. (2) Maxpedition supposedly uses better grade zippers. The differences might matter if you plan on using this bag for a rough trail work (cutting through bushes, breaking trails, etc), but for my intended use, it probably won't matter. I used the bag a couple times so far just carrying juice boxes and snacks through the urban jungle (open-market style shopping centers are so wild!) and I can see this bag serving me well for years.I love that MOLLE system can hold my wallet, phone, and small knick-knack pouch securely. I can have everything I need in arm's reach. It's always nice to have all that stuff handy when you travel and sicne most of them are hanging right in front of me on the strap, it's very secure as well.Lastly, sling bags like these are great because you can rotate the bag to the front and have quick access to everything in the bag. The strap slides very easily, and innumerable pouches are designed that the sides can be the top, that is, the side that would go to the bottom when it's slung around do not have zippers going there so there will always be a bottom and you won't accidentally open the zippers too wide and have things drop out of the bottom. All the zipper pulls have elastic strings, and all of them can be pulled to the same location and you can "lock" them with a small lock or a carabiner. This means if someone wants to open any of the pouches (something pickpockets are very good at) they would have t open the lock or carabiner and taked the looped elastic string out of the lock/carabiner. Again, a very useful feature.Aside from VVV Gear and Maxpedition, Yukon Outfitters have the almost identical bag. As of now, YO does not appear to have a retail or their own web store, and have sold this bag through Woot.com. Price was about the same, $40 plus $5. I have Prime so it wasn't a contest; I got this through Amazon. If you're into light hiking or camping get this bag. If you're a dad/family mule, get this bag. You won't regret it.
