Post birth control hormonal acne victim speaking: I was put on BC in my early years due to heavy periods. With it came the blessings of clear skin. Decades later and I decide I don’t like how sad it makes me feel, and I get off it. My skin’s okay for almost 6 months and then it starts. I go from dry skin to oily combination and I get acne not only on my face but also on my neck, chest, and back. I tried salicylic acid for a few months and it did nothing. My acne continued to worsen and started to scar badly. Derm mentions to try benzoyl peroxide instead. I found this and it’s been 2-3 months now and it has made a significant difference. My face has gotten a bit dry but the acne attacks have almost fully stopped, my neck stopped, and my back and chest are still a struggle but they are significantly better. Smell isn’t bad, texture is soft, bottle is big, a little goes a long way and as mentioned it can dry your skin but it has really helped my hormonal acne.

My absolute favorite facewash! Makes my skin feel so soft and clean. Does not dry out my face and I have extremely sensitive skin and have struggled with acne for years. This seems to be the only facewash that has helped my acne. No strong smell, good ingredients! Worth every cent!

Even though this item is expensive, a little goes a long way. My face is smooth, and some of my blemishes have lightened in the last 4 days. There's no scent, but don't expect a foam. It doesn't seem to dry out my skin, but on the other hand, I moisturise my skin anyway. Great cleanser. I hope to see no more than 1 or 2 blemishes in 3-4 weeks. Even though I usually don't get much acne, I constantly have it, and it can get inflamed and painful. Try this product if other things haven't worked.

My skin looked twice as good immeidently after using this. After a week, 30% of my acne is completely gone and the rest is significantly reduced. I've been doing a skincare routine for a year now with now results, but this got me results instantly! Here's my routine: Day: Effaclar (in shower, rince off) Moisterizer Night: (Rince face) Cleanser (if face is dirty) Retionol Moisterizer + Change pillowcase/use towel daily (Makes night-time breakouts impossible) Everything about this product is perfect. I just put it on for ~30 seconds each day (using the least amount possible while still covering my whole face) and since it off. I probably use 1.5 pea-sized amounts. Just use however much you need to cover your face. Also, MAKE SURE YOUR FACE IS DRY. Also, also, it drys out your face and throat so drink a lot of water.
