Poor Charlie's Almanack: The Wit and Wisdom of Charles T. Munger (Abridged) Hardcover – 1 January 2005

I was introduced to Charlie Munger many years ago through Haagstrom's book "The Warren Buffet Way", I registered his name and that was that. But as I gradually read more and more on the Graham style of Investing, I realised that Charlie was one Guru which needed to be read. Though very late in my investing life, but I had to read about Charlie's Wisdom if I were to add something new to my knowledge everyday. And I ordered his Almanack. Did I do the right thing? Of course. One cannot find a more concise, precise, witty and wise compilation of nuggets from so many people. Cicero, Thales, Plato, Osler, Darwin, you name a historic figure and Charlie has learnt something from them, which he uses. We must therefore, read and reread this book to assimilate most of it till the thought processes and mental models of Charlie become a part of you. A screaming must read even for the non investor types.

I loved the presentation and the wisdom articulated thro the mental lattice work of models in the book. a must read for every value Investor.

This book will not only make you a lot wiser,it will even get you to think and apply the knowledge!It is wonderful!
