I get excited after learning a new move in BJJ, so I like to show my fiancée. However, she doesn't usually like when I show her the new technique on her, so I usually do so on my dummy. Also, I like to do drills on it. It holds up really nicely. Even bought it a gi so I can choke it out better. I enjoy this dummy. Great value for the money. Also, it works really nice to just sit out one day so your fiancée walks out or comes home to it sitting there and it freaks her out. My dummy's name is Steve.

The PERFECT GIFT for my x-large sized 6yo son! My son is about 4'5"/85lbs and the 5ft. dummy is the perfect size. We used old clothes & pillows for stuffing, wasn't difficult or time consuming. I don't think the arms are short at all as other reviews mentioned. The canvas material is thick, durable, and has quality stitching.Overall, we are more than satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend!

I just started training in Jiu-Jitsu and bought this to help hone my skills at home. As a dad of two young kids, I can only make it to class about two days a week. This dummy allows me to do drills at home.Pros:- Easy to bend- I can put the GI on it- Arm bars, triangle chokes, arm triangles, leg locks- good material- Will not rip, very durable- easy to tossCons:- does not sit on elbows or knees, which can limit some procedures and drillsOverall: I am 5'8 and I bought the 5' dummy. I am able to grapple well with this size. It's good quality. Serves the purpose of practicing at home.

We have only had this since Christmas, but so far it is wonderful. I got this for my 10 yr old son who really wanted a football tackling dummy, which I refuse to have inside of my house with which to play. It was difficult to stuff with linens - the hole is a bit small and it is difficult getting it all the way in to the hands and feet, but was worth the trouble. Although this does not stand on its own, my son has figured out that sitting it on a bean bag ottoman is a good height to practice getting low and under the armpits, and that the bent arms hold the football perfectly. It has the added bonus of just being something to throw around and take out some aggression as well. My 7 yr old daughter has gotten in to the action a bit too :) We are very happy and figure that if nothing else, the kids will build some strength lugging this 27 lb linen stuffed guy around.

It's good for what it is... Though I ordered a 6ft tall dummy and got a 5ft tall one which is going to make its use a lot more challenging for judo throws as I'm 6'3... this is probably my biggest complaint, you know... the false advertising.Stuffing it is a workout all on its own and I heard some threads rip just from the stuffing.I'll update this review after some use.

Spent a lot of time researching for a wrestling dummy for our folk style wrestling club. There are a lot of expensive options but I really like the price on this one. Once I received it, I checked it out and it is exactly what we needed. It’s sewed together well and the material seems to be pretty tough. I love that we can fill it with what we want so we can make it lighter for our younger kids and heavier for our bigger kids. We've filled it with mostly jeans and t-shirts that we were going to donate. It’s been a few months and it’s still in good shape. I'll edit this review later if we have any issues.

Stuffed this guy with old towels, sheets, blankets and he is fantastic. He has provided my kiddos with hours of enjoyment, throwing and wrestling. He did rip, both bicep areas at the seems, easily sewn back up. Great for the price and for how rough the kids wrestle with him, good purchase.

I actually love this thing and my children like it as well. It's a great thing to take your frustrations out on, great exercise just beating it up and throwing it around. When I received it I put in a hundred pounds worth of sand, then I use filling from my old punching bag, that I no longer was using, I'm not sure about the wait but it's about 140 to 150. It's a great life size figure of an adult, along with a decent dead weight, that you would expect from an adult.
