Fiction Picture Books Big Sisters are the Best

Prompt amazon delivery as usual. This is my first review - had to leave a comment because it ticked all the boxes. This book is exactly what I was looking for. Something my daughter (2 1/2) could relate to and help her understand how her world is going to change in a few weeks time. She loves books and being read to so this really is the perfect book. It explains some of the things she's going going to encounter with a new baby in the house - being told to be quit, the baby sleeping in a cot and her in a big girl bed. It also explains how she can help and be involved with the baby and help out. Love this book, even more as is it a black family like us, so she can relate to the family dynamic, mummy, daddy, her and the new baby. Brilliant buy.

My daughter loves this book and will ask me to read it to her. The text is really simple and I adapt the words to our situation. It communicates really well what being a big sister is like as well as how big sisters are still loved and are not too big for cuddles.

I liked the book because sisters need to care about the babies ... we give it five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 year old twins)

After looking at numerous books for a new big sister I chose this one as it seemed the most appropriate. It was well received and the simple storyline was often read and enjoyed.

This book is great. My daughter loved it when she became a big sister and now reads it to her baby sister.

Good as far as it goes. Book was read a couple of times but not one that could be re read frequently.
