Exactly what I wanted. Arrived perfectly, wrapped nicely, and packed securely. Great addition to my helmet collection. Another helmet from THOR definitely did not. Let's hope it's not hit or miss with THOR.

I'm not going to lie, I was kind of desperate for something to help protect my skull from morningstars and the dreaded battleaxe, and wouldn't you know it, I found me one great helmet to fight off those pesky nobles who think they run the joint. I've never seen so many peasants run in fear at the sight of such a well built and stylish full-helm. Who needs to worry about stains when this finely polished metal wipes the disgusting juices right off like it was rain water. Only major downside is that it doesn't come with cup holders for my Goblets. 10/10 - Would Fight Off The Lower Class With It Again!

This was ordered for a family member. Very happy with it and exactly what was wanted.

I figured this would be some sort of tin trinket, good enough for a halloween costume. I was wrong. Real steel (maybe 18ga, not terribly heavy but enough to stop anything short of an axe). Rivet quality is excellent, the brass fittings shine, the padding is fairly comfortable. I really want to buy some chain mail and a horse to go with it!

I saw a lot of reviews mention the absurd amount of oil. They were right. It's insane. The box was wet from the oil right through. There were small puddles of oil in the bubble wrap and plastic around it, which were coated in oil. Holy cow guys, a light covering just enough to barely cover it is what should be used. It's nuts. It's still unwearable 2 days and many cleanings later. Just COATED in oil.People are also correct about it being uncomfortable and squishing your nose. Seriously, I don't know how my 15 y/o son is going to deal with wearing this. But he loves it *shugs*. I think he's getting awfully sick of trying to uselessly clean the endless amounts of oil coming off it. It's an oil sponge that was shipped swimming around in a fish bag full of oil, effectively.I know you shouldn't expect much for something like this, and that's why it got 3 stars. It's a fair looking neato helmet that is suitable for an expensive halloween accessory or display piece. Once you've cleaned it a billion times and as long as you aren't planning on wearing it outside of quick pictures.

I'm very impressed with the aesthetics and workmanship of this helmet. I purchased it for my son who enjoys LARPING, whatever that is. He was over the moon to receive this lovely piece of armor for Christmas.The only bummer is that the metal has to be coated in oil to prevent it from corroding or oxidizing while in transit. I understand it is necessary but it's a pain to clean. Just be aware that it will be greasy.
