For i had 1 like this before & I bought this 1 to replace it. For the 1 that I had I bought at Wal-Mart & I then bought there 2 year warranty & when the 1 that I had went to the bad I took it to a Vacuum Cleaner Repair place & had them to check out what is going on with it & they said that it was getting power to the switch & the wire. But the Motor had an issue with it & so I took it to Wal-Mart & tried to replace it & all they can do is give you the RUN AROUND & the Warranty is NOT WORTH BUT & so I just went right ahead & replaced it by Buying this 1 of witch I am 100 % Satisfied with for the easy to use futures such as the rewind cord & I can just empty the canister & give it a good washing out & the HEPA filter is easy to take out & give it a tap & Easy to put back in & that is why I like the Hoover Brand Name for it's that Good a Product.

Washable filters a real plus to hold down the dust.plenty of suction powerCord long enough. Much longer than a Dyson Ball which I also own and like.Only two features missing.1. turn off the brush for hardwood floors2. cord exits the chassis near the floor, should be higher for easier cord control.

Works when it works, every time we use this I have to take it apart and put the belt back on.

Rewind cord feature is nice. But the cord is short so I keep having to unplug it. I've had mine for 2 years and the height adjustment gave out. Can't find replacement parts. It's made out of pretty durable material but when I take it apart to clean it, it doesn't want to go back together most of the time. Wanna doesn't have a great suction power for some reason

Every time I use this vacuum the belt comes off. If it accidentally hits a rug fringe or if the carpet is too high (even when the roller bar is set on a higher level) the belt flies off and I need to unscrew the roller bar cover, reset the roller bar and belt and screw the cover back on. It’s a real pain. Even when the vacuum is working as normal it doesn’t pick up well on hardwood floors and tile. Rocks are thrown everywhere. I would not buy again. I had a Eureka Zuum that I was trying to replace and I wish I would have just gotten that again. I had no issues with that for 7 years.
