From the first round, it had everyone in stitches, and we couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire gameplay. The premise is straightforward - one player reads a setup card, and then everyone else submits a punchline card to complete the joke. The catch is that the punchlines come from the "relatives" - the quirky characters in the family! The real magic happens when you reveal the punchlines, and you'll be amazed at how hilarious and unexpected they can be. It's all about finding the perfect match between setup and punchline, and every round delivers belly-aching laughter. What I love most about Relative Insanity is that it encourages creativity and imagination. It's incredibly entertaining to see how different players interpret the setup cards and come up with wild, witty, and sometimes absurd punchlines. It is a really fun game.

Fun game for young adults and older people. Best played with a large group of players to keep players anonymity when choosing winners. Game can go on too long with four of less players. Packaging was poor and arrived damaged. Almost returned but kept due to price drop. I feel that even if you “lost” half the cards , you wouldn’t notice because there’s so many cards in a deck.

Very fun and funny game! Easy to play and learn, and flexible as to number of players/ages. Can be quite risqué, so might not be for really young kids or more conservatively inclined adults.

Fabulous middle ground between Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity, just enough innuendo to make adults belly laugh and not enough to worry that your kids might be exposed to something that's a little old for them. Much more game play too I think. If you like games like these, this is a must for your collection.

Fun game

Although the cards are much more tame than those of other response card games, this is still not something I would recommend to an audience under 18. Although the responses aren't outright vulgar, they are very suggestive and caused a great deal of blushing and uncomfortable shifting when played on Christmas day with a couple 16 and 17 year old family members in the group. Laughter came from awkward situations more than hilarity of the gross or inappropriate responses, but I know that's the nature of these types of games. In praise of the game; the writing is very true to the red-neck humor of Jeff Foxworthy, so if you like that you'll be able to appreciate the drunk hillbilly jokes galore. Takeaway: In a group of 8 people, ages 16 to 45, some laughs were had but mostly at the absurdity of the responses and the embarrassing situations they caused. If you're looking for a family friendly game, this isn't it. If you're looking for a PG-13 version of other popular responses games, this might fit the bill, but definitely not for ages 14+ like the game suggests.

Great game to play with older kids. Did think there were a few too many similar cards on how stupid a family member is. The game still got lots of laughs though!
