YHTAUTO Set of 2 Bonnet Hood Lift Support Struts Gas Shock Spring for Toyota Land Cruiser Lexus LX470 1998-2007

My 2000 Lexus LX470's hood would not stay open without a prop stick and the rear lift gate sagged - as expected for a 24 year-old vehicle. I bought this set of supporting gas struts after lots of research on OEM parts and alternatives. These were significantly less expensive than OEM parts. These replacement struts fit perfectly and were easy to install (just Google a YouTube video). All that was needed was a 1/2 inch wrench. In some places you could use a 1/2 inch socket wrench, in other places, a traditional combination wrench fit easier. These replacement struts appear beefier than the originals and they had no problem supporting the weight of the hood and the rear lift gate. Highly recommended.

I've been using a mop handle to keep my 2001 Lexus LX470 hood raised because what could possibly go wrong, right? These struts work perfectly and are simple to install. Took a 12 mm wrench and about 30 minutes to disassemble the old ones and put these on.

My last set of liftgate struts for our LX470 was a more-well-known brand, but they failed long before they should have. I took a chance on these and am really glad I did. They seem very well made, and they were easier to install than other brands I've used, as each strut's two bolts and one nut are the same size (unlike the other brands'). I highly recommend these.

This is the second time I had to replace the shock struts on my 1998 Landcruiser. The original ones lasted about 20 years. The replacement (aftermarket) worked OK for the first 3 years but then started failing, especially in cold weather. After being hit on my head a few times in the last two years, finally decided to look for something new and came across this product. These installed easily and work great: there is very good up force, one may say too good, and sufficient down assist. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Easy installation, has a soft open which prevents the lift gate from opening too hard, which is nice. Direct fit from stock on lx 470

So far so good, we shall see if it holds up well. Far as I can tell it should. It took me about 30 minutes to remove my old ones and install the replacements.

I have a Toyota Land Cruiser 2000 model, & this trunk strut replacement wont fit in the same bolt holes of the car, also it's shorter from the original part, which will not allow the trunk to close., I wasted my money for nothing 👎

I have bought for Landcruiser GXR and it is not suitable for my vehicle please get me a change this item which will suit for my vehicle....please help me
