When I purchased my printer from craigslist, they said an IT person can work with it better. And yet, it took me a very long time to realize what really was wrong with the printer. Maybe because I would just use it to print an odd page at some times. Realized the pattern when I started printing more pages and the second page was not getting grabbed. This was exactly what it needed and it's been a few months now and it is working like clockwork

Perfect fit and easy install. Just be sure to look up how to get your printer into service mode to rotate the roller into position to be removed.

So my printer gradually went from printing a few pages to not even picking up the 1st one. This new pickup roller and paper separator fixed the issue and now it picks up an prints again! The install is pretty easy, just look up how to rotate the pickup roller on you tube using the secondary service menu (pressing gear icon then left and right side quickly). Once the pickup roller is rotated, use a couple of screwdrivers to release the clips on either side at the top and it pops right out. Remove the clip on top of the paper separator to remove it. Take a picture first and keep both in the same orientation when you remove so that you can put the new ones in the same way.
