Review: worth every pound - I bought a simple teleprompter a week ago around £50 because I am just starting making videos. But was very plastic, so I returned and I bought this one. BOOM this is another level, of course, is more expensive but worth every penny. Is better to make the investment if you can so you won't have to spend twice. Is an amazing product, well made, strong structure, with glass, bag as described. I am so happy that I got this one that for sure will last longer. Happy with the purchase!!!!!

No assembly at all other than folding it out, attaching the material shield and one time attaching the rubber guards for the iPad. Used it for the first time today and the results are excellent. Perfect video and clear words for on the glass. It’s big enough to read from a good 8-10 feet so that no one will register your eyes moving. If I could make just 2 suggestions: 1) Make mantrap note of how it comes out of the bag and how the foam padding goes round it. If you do it goes back in perfectly and ultra safe. 2) maybe invest in a height riser of just 1.5cm as my Sony A77II sat a little low. I see one on here for £14 that I’m ordering. Other than that, seriously amazed by the quality of this product at the price compared to next models up. Delighted!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you advance the script as a one person show?  A second device link via wifi through app?**
A: You need to download the app for whatever program you are using for promoting. I use TelePrompTer plus and download the app to my phone then use Bluetooth to connect the two

**Q: Will this work with the 12.9" iPad Pro?**
A: I was able to MAKE it fit by taking off the iPad support, cutting it with a hacksaw in the middle, separating it a bit, and gluing it back on. A hack, to be sure, but the 12.9" is almost the exact size of the glass, so it works great!

**Q: What is typically the furthest you can set the prompter from the talent and have it still be legible?**
A: we set it up at 10 feet..and it is really, really easy to see and use.  I might imaging 15ish feet would still work.  We use a Samsung tablet with free teleprompter software.  This allows us to regulate font size and scroll speed.  
The further from the actor, the less eye-wiggle.  And at 10 feet, in a large font...no eye movement is discernible

**Q: 1)does it work w/dslr or camcorder?how does it stay put? 2)is a tripod included? 3)work w/ ipad 2? 4)how to scroll the text? thanks.**
A: It will work with most camcorders. It stays put by mounting to a tripod which is not included. It will work with most ipads. You will need to get teleprompter software for your ipad in order to use it. The prompter software will determine what kind of scrolling you can do with the text.

I bought a simple teleprompter a week ago around £50 because I am just starting making videos. But was very plastic, so I returned and I bought this one. BOOM this is another level, of course, is more expensive but worth every penny. Is better to make the investment if you can so you won't have to spend twice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, but taller cameras or those with quick release mounts might suffer

The product is rock solid and performs admirably, the only downside is that the mounting plate is fixed at a height that works great for directly attaching a standard DSLR, but the lack of adjustment means it's can be a little bit too high if you're wanting to mount something like a quick release plate, and the top of the frame can be obstructed. However... they're just internal threaded rods, so if you're fine with a little DIY, they can be replaced with shorter ones - The only real downside being a bit more fiddly to tighten the knobs for the tablet mount.
