Magical moisturizer
If you have dry flaky skin that just never gets softer no matter how much lotion you put on, buy this. Yes its expensive, but your skin will transform over night. The only other set back is when you apply too much you will smell some ammonia. But the smell dissipates, and the benefits outweigh the draw backs.

Go ahead and put it in your cart..
I’ve been using this for almost a month now and see a real difference in my skin. It genuinely is effective and keeps my skin smooth and soft. I have mildly dry, scaly skin on my legs but I could see it was getting worse (I guess from shaving, winter cold/dry air and clothing layers sucking the moisture out my skin). Now I see the scales have visibly improved and my skin keeps moisturized for longer. People complain about the smell being terrible but honestly, I find those comments to be a little dramatic. I was expecting a super offensive scent and at most it smells like a light yogurt or sour cream. Maybe my sense of smell isn’t as sensitive but it’s really not bad at all. There’s always the option to apply a scented lotion you love over it, which I usually do, and you won’t even notice it or it just fades on its own. The consistency is nice and not too thin but I’m more of a cream person anyway, so I think I’d prefer to have this in a cream version. However, it does the job just the way it is. I was skeptical at first but I love this product!! The one issue I’ve had is that my bottle doesn’t pump properly anymore. I’m unsure if I did something wrong because it was working fine when I got it. It’s also pretty expensive for such a small bottle. Yet, I think it might just be worth the cost. I don’t really care and it won’t stop me from buying it again. Seriously, I am pleasantly surprised at this thing.

My favorite body lotion for exfoliation
I LOVE this version of AmLactin. It is 15% strength and exfoliates my dead skin off of my legs better than any other product out there. There is a 12% version that is also good but results are quicker with 15%. Be prepared for a slight sting ocassionally.

Works but faint ammonia smell. Our Derm recommended this.
Our dermatologist suggested this for my son’s super dry and scaly hands. We really like how it feels and it cleared them up. Problem is it has a weird smell. Also like a faint ammonia smell. Doesn’t bother my son but I don’t like the smell! But it works so there is that.

Great product, making my skin smooth and less crepey
This lotion has improved my skin so much! Also helps with rough scaly spots on my skin. It was recommended by my dermatologist. Only thing I hate is the price😟😄

Works Great, Smells Unbearably Bad
I'll start with the positives. This stuff works great. Like incredibly great! I have very dry skin and this stuff has made major improvements in my crispy, gross, bumpy, long-suffering winter skin after just a few days of use. It's truly amazing. Moving on to the negatives: Other reviewers who say it has an "odd" smell are apparently very kind people, or don't actually have real noses. This stuff stinks to high heaven. It has, for me, an intolerably bad smell. Like a combination of ammonia + cat pee + something petrochemical-ish + maybe some notes of rotting carcass. It's horrific, the smell. Like I want to run away from my own self while I apply it and I actively hate smelling myself after I've put it on. To be fair, the smell *does" dissipate after about 30 minutes, but I still smell it, faintly, many hours after having applied it, and then I want to run away from myself all over again. I haven't asked my husband if he can smell it on me, because I'm scared to know his answer. As a more neutral, though not entirely positive, point of feedback, it goes on sticky and tacky, but that does diminish some after a while, so that you'll be just a little bit sticky by hour 4 and your underpants should cease to stick to your butt cheeks at that time. As to the price: Sure, it's relatively expensive, but it does work beautifully, and perhaps smelling like something that's dead or dying is worth it to you! To summarize: - Pros: This stuff works beautifully and lives up to its advertised promises. I desperately want to love it. - Cons: The price you'll pay for beautiful skin is smelling like a rotting BCE dinosaur corpse that's been doused with 40 pounds of very old and dirty cat litter.

Amazing product, bad pump
Nothing works as well as this for me. I get SUPER dry skin in the winter and this prevents it. They even seem to have improved the smell of this as it used to have a noticeable ammonia smell, presumably due to the ammonium lactate (salt of lactic acid). The main drawback for me on this purchase was that the pump doesn't work. I can't get it to pop up so dispensing the product is a pain.

Il est super bien par contre pour le prix la contenance n'est pas suffisante le produit est petit, et l'odeur est super forte voir désagréable mais sinon niveau résultat super!!

Wonderful for KP, this lotion exfoliates and moisturizes! Better than anything from Sephora tbh

Consistency is key when using KP creams. I've found that applying it regularly, usually once or twice a day, yields the best results. Over time, I've noticed a reduction in redness and a significant decrease in the number of bumps. While it may not completely eliminate the condition, it certainly makes it much less noticeable.
