pleasantly surprised
Ok, I saw these for less than $30 and took a chance. I needed a lighter hiker for warm weather. For the money, they can't be beat. I was surprised. I bought a pair of insoles as well. I just assumed a $30 boot would have a terrible insole. I was wrong. The Nortiv8 insoles are perfectly usable with decent arch support.I put 20 miles on them out on some rugged hiking trails. These boots are comfortable and have awesome traction. They seem rugged enough. The leather looks like actual leather...thin, but real.I oiled the leather up and then applied some brown shoe polish to add to the water resistance and durability. They look great, are comfortable, offer good arch support and have great traction. The outsole really grips the terrain without picking up stones or debris.I can't believe they cost less than $30.They aren't a top notch Keen or Thorogood, but for a $30 hiker they beat most $60 dollar hikers and get 5 stars from me.

What a bargain!
“What a great pair of boots! I picked them up on sale for under $30 and was impressed right out of the box. I wore them on a multi-mile dog walk with zero issues—no break-in needed. On my second outing, I wore them for 9 hours of stream fishing, and my feet felt great the entire time. The traction is excellent, especially on stream banks, rocks, and logs. Outstanding value and performance!”

Great boot
Fits my feet well. I normally like a wide shoe and this fit it well. Really light but comfy. Break in period will be easy materials seem soft but strong. Great for hiking or repelling.

They are as described!
I actually wear these for summertime work. They are lighter and more comfortable than traditional work boots, while still being supportive on ladders. Waterproof is key. We aren’t rats in wet grass and puddles often. So far so good. Honestly for the money, they are great. I will review the review if my opinion changes

A good shoe
I've spent 2 days out in the woods now with these shoes. And not just walking trails either, up and down some pretty steep places too. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with a pair of these. My size 11 boots seem a little big for the size, but I like thick socks so great.

Get for what you pay.. needs a better stitch and cushions.
I brought this pair of boots on December 8th 2024 . At the first timei wear it look nice not very comfortable, the cushion it's not the best I have to get an other pair of cushions to make it more comfortable for me. I use it a lot, I'm wearing when I mowed my lawn, I do some construction too, I hike, so I put in a test. Everything was ok today on the July 16th 2025 the right boot it's not so great, some of the stitches started to falling apart.... So if you want something to wear ones in a while you can get one of this boot. But for to use in a real work environment get something better..

Best deal for a nice hiker and i love them
Absolutely the best bargain in Hikers. Ive paid 100.00 for work/hiking boots that were exactly the same. The insole is a little firm, my feet are fragile, deduct one star. I added a gel insole for 8 bucks and LOVE the fit and feel. Arch support is great and it has a tongue that wont roll or jam when putting on. Ankle support is firm yet moveable without binding. These also dont need a break in, they flex well.
