How is the length? I usually wear an 8.5 but in some shoes I size up, others I size down.

I normally wear a 8.5 too, but for Sketchers On-The-go 600-Brilliancy Sport Sandal, I wear a 9. I used the size chart & measured my foot. My foot is real close to 9.8 inches, but maybe a hair over, which would be a size 8, but since I never size down, I decided to size up & it was perfect.

I wear a size 11 and occasionally 11.5. This sandal is a large 11 for me, personally, so I would not order up.

Can the backstrap be tightened? I have a narrow ankles.

The back ankle strap is sewn in on both sides to a side strap that comes out of the sole at both sides. Do not count on being able to tighten or loosen it based on adjustment of the top strap. In reality, it does not work.

Is there a reason why this company can’t seem to give you the same colored sandals????

It may seem odd that the sandals are not exactly alike. However, they both contain the same color combination. Wearing them, they look great together and are so very comfortable. I love mine!
