Elvive Hyaluron + Pure Oil Erasing Scalp Serum with Salicylic Acid For Oily Hair, 3.45 Fl Oz

I am in love with the product! I have struggled with oily hair for most of my life, having to use dry shampoo 1 day after I wash it. Using this product keeps the oil in check, AND it keeps my hair from falling flat! I was blown away after my first use. I couldn’t believe that it also keeps my hair at the “newly washed” volume level for DAYS after washing. Now I can go 2-3 days without using dry shampoo, and when I do use dry shampoo I don’t have to use very much in a couple spots. I would sing about this product from the rooftops if I could! It’s life changing for me! It also smells great and doesn’t break the bank. It was under $15. If you have oily hair, you NEED this!

This serum is absolutely incredible. I've suffered with an oily scalp since puberty; same as my father before me. I have tried every product and stylist-suggested method under the sun to attempt to get the issue under control. Nothing has worked. Until now. I will say that you need to make sure that you follow the instructions, section off your hair, apply the serum to the (dry/unwashed) sections, massage for five minutes, and let it sit for a further 15, and then rinse it out before shampooing and conditioning it. If you've got the patience to follow these steps, and you use it in concert with the corresponding shampoo and conditioner, you will be amazed by the results. For the first time in my life, my hair actually squeaked while I was shampooing it. And after conditioning (my lengths only) my hair is super clean, silky soft, and is oil-free for 3-4 days afterwards. It's also so much less tangled after I sleep. My brush just glides right through it. Some further information that may be needed is that I do have fine hair (but a lot of it). I also use this serum once a week. Every Sunday. I wash it again mid-week using only the corresponding shampoo and conditioner, and my hair is incredible and oil-free throughout. I can't promise this product will work for everyone, but for me? It's a godsend. If you've struggled with oily hair all your life and given up on ever conquering it, maybe don't. I really do think this product is worth a try. I genuinely hope and pray that they keep it as a permanent staple in the Elvive line.

I've tried so many different products for my scalp issues. I have rosacea and get bumps and "zit" like things on my scalp that are super painful and can just feel gross. My problem is I also have sensitive skin, seriously sensitive so I must be careful what I use. Plus I have allergies... so imagine my delight in finding a product with no weird ingredients that didn't break the bank. Many high end hair products with salicylic acid are very expensive and hard to find so when I saw this L'Oreal product I was skeptical of results and I was wrong, this is wonderful. I've used several times, putting the product on my scalp per the instructions and the bottle has handy measuring lines on the side for the treatment amounts. Massage it in, put a shower cap on so the warmth of my head helps it soak in while keeping it moist, then rinse and follow up with the Hyaluron Pure clarifying shampoo, then following with my hydrating conditioner. My scalp is the cleanest it has ever been, no dry flakes, no new breakouts, and the existing ones are calming down already. My hair is still soft, moisturized, and smooths perfectly with the use of my preferred styling product and flat iron. So many scalp treatments that work leave my hair crunchy or out of control, this doesn't.

So very good. Smells delicious and works magically. Only wish it was a little thicker so it wouldn't be running through my face. Overall Loreal never disappoints.

Nice scent. Moisturising, quality product. Found it effective for fine hair.
