There are three settings & It heats up very fast! I originally bought it so I can put it in my dogs snuggle puppy plushie (I didn’t wanna keep spending money on disposable heat packs). It helped but it definitely didn’t last as long as I hoped (which honestly isn’t actually a bad thing in general since it’s for hands anyways and wasn’t meant to stayed on for like 8+ hrs at a time) and I had to keep charging it. I do plan to buy 2 more for the winter however

I didn't have much hope that this would stay warm for very long, but I have been surprised. I've had it two days and from a full charge it will stay warm (~100F) for ten hours on low power. True, it wasn't as warm at the end -- for the last two hours it was between 92-94F -- but it was still warm enough to warm hands.It comes with cloth bag to put it in to avoid having it touch your skin, but I have not found it necessary to use when it is on Low heat. I have not tested it at Med or Hi heat, since Low was perfect for me.I haven't used the phone charger feature, but the battery is 5,200 mAH, so it should charge most any phone at least once.My only complaint is that it is too easy to accidentally change the heat setting. The button to change the heat setting is on the top of the case and is very easy to accidentally push if it is in a pocket or being held. One push changes the heat setting. A long push turns it off.

Overall I love this warmer...I bought this to help me keep my hands warm while playing darts (I play in a league). But I'm always cold anyway so it's great to have around, and also works as an emergency charger for my phone. I love that there's a little sack to keep it. The only negative: I had been keeping it in my purse, and randomly I'd see a red light on coming from its bag because it had turned on without me knowing. This happened a lot. The button is easily pressed it, which means it's on and the charge is wasting away. The manufacturer may want to think about using a switch instead of a button to turn it on.

this is so nice to have! I didn't know electric hand warmers were even a thing until recently. going out in the fall and winter always means that I'm miserably cold till I can come back inside, no matter how much I bundle up (I think I have low iron or something?) anyway, this little thingy is great because it means I don't have to spend a bunch of money on chemical handwarmers that don't last very long, or harm the environment because they are single use. as for the giftable rating, I am already planning on getting a few of these for stocking stuffers for other people that I know who get cold easily(not to mention my partner who said he is going to steal this from me lol). it fits perfectly in the palm of my hands, and since it's double sided I can warm both of my hands at once. it heats up really fast, and without the pouch, having it on medium is perfect.

Bought these for hunting season because I was tired of the disposable one that heat up, but fade quickly and you throw them away. Ive used this for the past 2 weeks almost every day. I charge it at night and the batteries last all day at least on levels one and 2 for heat. I haven't even needed level three yet. It gives off a good amount of heat. I put it in my hand muff and just move it back and forth from hand to hand. It works great!

This is great for me in the colder months because I have Raynard’s Syndrome. It heats up fast but I have 2 complaints. 1)it takes at least 3 hours to fully charge if almost dead and 2)I keep it in my gym bag, backpack or purse and I’ll go to use it and even after I’ve charged it, the battery is either half gone or dead because the button is so sensitive that if it hits anything in your bag, it automatically cuts on. So I wouldn’t buy this product again

Bought this for work cause it be so cold! When I tell you, it works it almost gets to hot! But I'm not mad at this little thing packs a powerful punch!

This is the second Karecel hand warmer I've purchased, the first has been used for two years and still going despite my dropping it a few times and having to put it back together, the new one is a back-up. I have Reynard's syndrome and living it PA means several of my fingers lose circulation frequently. The Karcel provides a substantial amount of heat that allows my fingers to return to normal within a few minutes when held inside my pocket.
