I adore this silk bonnet. I chose this because I’ve read 22-mommy is ideal for hair health and preventing friction. It’s definitely authentic silk and it has a little weight to it, so it seems like it will last and not wear out easily. But it’s not heavy or too hot. It feels luxurious and special. I would even gift this to someone because it’s so nice. I’m using this to protect my hair at night, even though I sleep on silk pillowcases. I haven’t had any issues with it slipping off like other reviewers mentioned. The bands are soft/stretchy and there is some light elastic in the back. It’s comfortable to wear. My shoulder length curly hair fits inside with ease. If you have extremely thick or waist length hair or braids, I’m not sure if all of it would fit inside. I would consider this to be a “normal” size, not a jumbo/xl sized bonnet. I just hope my hair still fits inside when it reaches waist length again. Because right now, it’s perfect, not too big or too small, I’ll update in 2-4 years from now if anything changes. If your hair is a bit longer than mine, I still think you’d be able to wear this. I was able to get a good deal on this and I’m so happy with my purchase. If you’re looking to upgrade from a satin bonnet, get this.

I have "Irish" curls as theyre called, idk what type that is but if you're like me hopefully that helps. My sister has Spanish curls and uses 0ne too. We love it. It IS silk, for real. It does slip sometimes however! It stays ob longer, better, and all night more often than any other so far. Worth it.

Very cute bonnet and I actually really like the material, it’s super breathable and comfortable. The only issue for me is that unless you tie it really really tight (which hurts and gives you a headache) the bonnet almost always falls off in my sleep. The loops at the front serve no purpose and I wish it wasn’t even there because i have to go and undo the knot and ties that I did to prevent it from falling off (that didn’t help) every time I want to put it on again.

I've never liked bonnets & refused to wear them but this one is so amazing and comfortable, easy to put on & does not make your head hot. The band is super soft and protects your hairline. The packaging was also very nice.

Well constructed, pretty and soft. The tie band wasn't comfortable though, at least, not for me. But I have a very sensitive scalp, so that might have been the issue. I gave it to my daughter, and she loves it.

I absolutely love this! Unlike the deceptive advertising of most other bonnets, this is obviously real silk (not satin). Well worth the money. I have probably 3A hair (maybe 3B, i can’t really tell), a very sensitive scalp from seborrheic dermatitis, and hair shedding from pcos and i noticed when i wear this every night, my scalp doesn’t get irritated or itchy as fast and i don’t loose as much hair as when i leave it down or put it in a ponytail at night. The elastic band is great so far, seems to be very durable and isn’t becoming stretched or worn. I love the little loops that you can pull the ties through, i think that really helps it stay in place. I genuinely think sometimes it depends on the shape of your head if a bonnet stays on through the night but this definitely has the foundation of a sturdy bonnet. I toss and turn A LOT and it’s never fallen off, the most that’s happened is it slides down slightly over my eyes but since i started placing the tied bow above the elastic section onto my head as opposed to my forehead, it doesn’t do that anymore. Highly recommend this bonnet!! REAL silk is the way to go if you really want to care for your hair and scalp!

Compared with my genuine silk pillow cases this is real silk. I love how the tie is polyester so it stays on through the night, if the tie was silk as well it would slip off your head because silk a bit slippery. My hair gets dry pretty easily (I have type 4a/3c) and this will maintain my hair well. Def recommend to other black women!

The lining is itchy and uncomfortable and does not stay in place at all. Unfortunately to make it fit all heads, it fits none and has a huge hole in the back of you cross the ties over to make it fit and there's only two loops in the front right next to each other for the holding loops so they don't hold very well or leave enough room for the bow to double back. As a result the bow flops into the face all the time and the itchy non silk material it's made of itch the face and ruin the edges of my hair every night. Needs ateast two more loops, not the giant gap, if it's elastic in the edging, why?, and for silk to be the material for the entire thing for the price

Getting your hair in might be a bit tricky, but i usually tie my hair in a braid and would tuck them in. Easiest way to do it, if I was asked. The adjustable straps are a game-changer; they keep the bonnet securely in place without feeling tight or uncomfortable. I can toss and turn in bed, and it doesn’t slip off, which has been a huge plus. If I had to note one minor downside, it might feel a little warm in the summer for those who sleep hot, but that’s a small trade-off for the protection it provides. Overall, a high-quality, elegant bonnet that’s gentle on hair and comfortable to wear. They also give you a small piece of the same fabric to probably test and the testing instructions are listed on it. Also, I would recommend washing it before use since it will be close to you face when you sleep - wash instructions are also mentioned. the picture added with my review gives the exact color of the bonnet.

This is a cute two-tone silk bonnet that genuinely feels like real silk. I enjoy this silk bonnet very much and I like the look of it too. The size appears standard pretty much, my head is average in size and my hair is long (hip length ) The bonnet is doubled and it looks beautiful inside and out, and the large elastic border add the design and the stability on the head. The bonnet is packed in a lovely box and I think that it would make a quality gift, not only beautiful. The silk is not very thick but not the thinnest either, the description says 22 momme in weight and it appears about right I really like the animal print and the overall comfort and aesthetics for this bonnet, to be honest I would have liked it more if it were a bit more voluminous (larger) but it still fits nice.
