Likes: Dry scalp hydration: Yes, it helps my scalp feel more comfortable and less dry. (Not a medicated dandruff/itch treatment.) Creamy + easy rinse: Very creamy, lathers well with real suds, and rinses easily, even in thick curls. Curls look fresh: My curls look bouncy and clean, not weighed down. Truly fragrance-free: Zero scent. Not “lightly scented,” just no fragrance. No buildup: Rinses clean with no buildup, but also doesn’t leave hair feeling stripped or squeaky. Great conditioner I am on my second one now. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn’t have a scent. My fiancé is highly sensitive to perfume smells from toiletries so I have tried to cut them out where I can. I have colored hair and this moisturizes it will and also keeps it soft. I will keep buying it. For my hair thin (but I have a lot of it) it doesn’t leave it oily.

I'm delighted with the CeraVe gentle hydrating conditioner and the gentle hydrating shampoo. I have flare ups of an autoimmune type issue under and on my scalp and I have to scale back to very gentle products. This is by far the best shampoo and conditioner that I have found for this purpose. I had a shampoo and conditioner on hand for this purpose but I hated using them because my hair looked so flat and dull after using them, although they were effective with dealing with the flare-ups. The CeraVe products have helped with the flare-up and my hair looks great. I have medium fine hair with a bit of wave (2b). I find that so many shampoos and conditioners gradually dry out my hair no matter what promises they make. This is the first shampoo and conditioner I've used in a long time that gives back to my hair and makes it more manageable.

I purchased this Cerve Gentle Hydrating Conditioner for my daughter because her hair was looking greasy and her scalp seemed irritated from our previous shampoo and conditioner. It works as a basic conditioner — her hair feels soft and manageable, and it doesn’t make her hair greasy. That said, it wasn’t particularly remarkable or transformative. It did get out my daughters tangles and she has baby fine hair that is often left greasy by other comditioners, this one seems to leave it not as greasy. The unscented, scent is alright. It’s a reliable, gentle option for sensitive scalps, but I wouldn’t call it exceptional. Good for everyday use if you need something mild and non-irritating.

Ever since I found out I’m allergic to fragrances, I’ve been on a mission to find truly fragrance-free shampoo and conditioner. Honestly, this one has been my favorite so far! Best conditioner EVER!!!! You know have to use a lot and it gets your hair soft and easy to brush through. I have super long hair and this conditioner worked wonders on my hair. I was able to brush through it in a matter of a minute verses half an hour getting knots out. It’s a miracle for hair.

Awesome detangling conditioner! Curly headed girls and others with trouble combing their hair after shampoo and conditioner- this one is great! I haven’t found a conditioner in years that let me comb it without spraying on a detangler also. Plus fragrance free. It’s great. Only note is that it is a little slippery on the shower floor after rinding. A+
