BLACKHAWK SERPA Holster Quick Disconnect Male Adapter

I actually use these on other holsters as well, but of course they work just fine with Blackhawk Serpa type holsters.Also work with the 'Speed Beez' L-Frame 6" holster for my S&W 686. Mounts PERFECTLY, I mean like it was built with this in mind.Another holster that I use these on, a Safariland 6378-2832 for my Glock 19 w/ Streamlight TLR-1HL. For use on this holster I did have to take my dremel and round out a little for the mounting holes to fit, but it was really pretty simple to do. All in all it mates up great with the holster, no slop or play at all.What else can I say, I like the ability to easily swap out firearms to different locations, equipment, gear, etc. Yet not have to buy a bunch of different holsters with their own unique mounting hardware. I like Blackhawk holster mounts and plan to keep using them, yes even with their arch nemesis Safariland ;) Yes I like both companies, both have good products. Ignore the haters.

I love these however just an FYI you might find very interesting. I purchased these prior due to multiple firearms used for range certifications and training, previously I when I ordered I received 3 in a pack. I had just ordered two new holsters so I also went to previous orders and hit order again, price had not changed however product did. For same price I only received 1 male adapter not 3.as for now two stars not for product but to Bushnell.Note: I have sent email to customer support and have not got reply as of yet. This review might change to what it was previously.

New Blackhawk quick disconnects came in today. The design is clever, allowing the user to quickly change holsters/platforms with minimal effort. I can now switch a holster from my drop leg rig, to a belt clip, to a paddle, to a car mount in about 5 seconds. Maybe not quite as elegant as G-Code's RTI system, but very impressive, and especially handy if you're a SERPA fan like I am.The system does add a good 1-2" in thickness to any rig, so it's not optimal for concealing.Note: One improvement would be rotating the release clamps on the female side from the 12/6 positions to the 3/9 positions. The 12 position doesn't present a problem, but the 6 is sometimes covered by the holster itself and someone with fatter fingers than I could have even more trouble tripping the release.Update: Ok, may have found a solution to the 12/6 trip issue. You can trip the 6 o'clock release, put pressure on the holster to rotate, and then trip the 12 o'clock release (with a little more effort). This allows the holster to pop right out. This may have been a design choice since the counter-clockwise rotation to release is natural and allows constant pressure. Regardless, it makes operation much easier and fixes the only real complaint I had.

If you like serpa holsters as much as I do, you should really look at the QD mounts... oh wait... you are...ok so I have more serpa holsters than I can count right now and every single one that is not set up for concealed carry is fitted with one of these bad boys. I can mount whatever I want to whichever platform I choose. Leg, Vest, Car, Belt, Etc.Be warned, these aren't the best for concealed carry as the female mount adds more than a half inch to the mount, so the holster really sticks out.The twist lock up however is really solid, so I don't worry about losing a holster ad you have to lift on two latches and give a solid turn to dismount the platform.

This gizmo works with the Blackhawk QD Kit, allowing one to add more stuff to, say, a duty belt. I used one to mount a large Kukri knife to my belt. So if you want to take a knife to a gunfight, swapping out the gun for a knife is very easy and quick. Probably stupid, too. I also have a couple guns in Serpa holsters and switching between them is quick and easy. This particular piece actually has several more holes than the 3 shown, making it even better for mounting to weird things, like Kukri knife scabbards. Sometimes mounting hole locations can't line up with the 3 shown. Well made, strong, and easy to mount & use. I pointed out a drawback to this whole QD concept in my review of the Kit (Love/Hate). I'll use this Kit, but not concealed, like I originally planned.

this worked great for one more holster that i needed it for, luckily i wasn't in a big hurry fro this item, but for some reason it took the seller about month to get it to me, But they did communicate with me asking if i still wanted it (i appreciate that very much) thank you.

My spare male connector for my Serpa holster for a Glock 42. Planned to attach this to a Serpa holster for my new H&K VP9 so I could switch between the two guns, but the P30 Serpa Holster is just enough non-fit, it won't correctly hold the VP9 (and Blackhawk recommends you get the holster designed specifically for your gun for a quality fit...I agree). So emailed Blackhawk and the said in January 2015 that they had no plans to make one for the VP9, which is proving quite popular. They may change their minds later, but for now, this male connector is a spare part.

I use this to mount guns in hidden places everywhere for personal defense and on my l.b.e. for training or range days. mounts under bedside table, under dash or car seat, under entry table by front door, etc. only limit is your imagination. then quickly detach when needed and quickly mount wherever you want! outstanding! i believe they are designed to be exclusively mated to serpa style Blackhawk holsters so check compatibility with the holster you intend to mate it to. i know it works with serpas because that is what i use. don't know about other Blackhawk holsters or other brands so make sure.

Overpriced for what it is, but what can you do?Tried to spray paint it black with mixed results (paint does not bond to it well), but it still works just fine.

This seller is selling genuine Blackhawk products. I was very happy with everything. This disconnect system it's an excellent way too quickly connect multiple different holsters to your kit.
