Potent
Trexgenics Phosphatidylcholine Review: Let me just say that this is an unbiased and an unpaid take. Choline is an important nutrient for the brain health. Though it is made in small quantities in the liver which aids in fat metabolism. The recommended RDA for Choline is 550mg for men and 425mg for women. We only get so much from food even if you are a vegetarian or a meat eater. It's best to fill in the gap by supplementing. Phosphatidylcholine gets converted into Acetylcholine and with the help of a protein crosses the blood brain barrier. It also latches on to Dopamine receptors. This serves two purposes. Acetylcholine will make you calm whereas Dopamine will make you focussed. You have to check with dosage and time. As Choline can either make you sleep at night or make you awake. Take one capsule with breakfast and lunch and see if you are able to sleep well at night. If you want to pull an all nighter at work and not be fatigued then take one with lunch and one with dinner. Trexgenics has done a wonderful job in providing this product which is only available abroad. The price could have been a bit lower. This works from day 1. Always cycle Phosphatidylcholine on and off. Stay with the recommended dose and reap the rewards. As this crosses blood brain barrier do not make abrupt changes, the brain requires and prefers steady supply. Minor hiccup which I faced was that the shipper sent me one bottle less in the packaging. Amazon was very helpful in processing me a refund. Hope this won't be repeated with subsequent orders. As the product costs above Rs 1000, due care must be taken before packing and the packaging could be improved. Would love to buy again. Be responsible with Choline supplemetation or intake with food always.

Particularly useful for people with PEMT variants or low dietary choline
Phosphatidylcholine is especially helpful for people with PEMT gene variants, since it supplies membrane PC directly rather than only free choline like alpha-GPC. I found this more suitable for long-term use.

Not a therapeutic supplement
This supplement is essentially a soy-derived phospholipid (lecithin) blend providing small amounts of phosphatidylcholine and other membrane lipids. There will be no meaningful change, and some may experience mild digestive upset, skin flare, or brain fog, particularly if they have gut imbalance or sensitivity to soy. It is not dangerous, but it is also unlikely to improve fatty liver, cognition, or inflammation in any measurable way. This supplement is essentially a soy-derived phospholipid (lecithin) blend providing small amounts of phosphatidylcholine and other membrane lipids. While the label may imply benefits for liver, brain, nerves, or stress, the quantities present are far below therapeutic levels used in clinical studies.
