Q: What is the Waterproof Rating of this valve?

The motor's housing is rated at IP65 for ingress protection. If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain. For more details, please refer to Picture 1.

Q: What is the difference between N.C. (Normally Closed) and N.O. (Normally Open) ?

In a N.C. valve, it's closed without power and opens when energized. Conversely, in a N.O. valve, it's open without power and closes when energized, blocking fluid or gas flow. For more details, please refer to Picture 2.

Q: What is the difference between Full Port and Standard Port?

In a full port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is the same as the pipe it's connected to. In a standard port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is smaller than the pipe size. For more details, please refer to Picture 3.

Q: Can this be used for Drinking Water?

NO. This motorized ball valve is made of brass, which contains lead, should not be used for drinking water.
