Great supplement, really. For a better sleep, skin, focus. I just take one in the evening and have great benefits.

I wanted to try an adaptogen. I got before a thyroid support supplement with ashwagandha and iodine among other stuff. That made me feel horrible with nervousness and heart palpitations for all night. However, after a horrible night and a quick sleep I was feeling like a new person the second day. I attributed the nervousness to iodine and the good feeling to ashwagandha. But to be more safer I said it's better to try a different adaptogen, so I went with the holy basil. I took it and I immediately started to feel the effect coming. I guess my body is not used to this kind of stuff so the first reaction was a rather bad panicky feeling. After some rushed visits to the toilet and an upset stomach it settled down into a good overall feeling of alertness and easiness at the same time. Note that I actually open one capsule and only drank about half of the content inside the capsule, just in case it makes me feel bad. It made me feel bad at first but then I saw its true potential. Later in the day I took once more about half of capsule together with food and again - panic and stomach flushing at first but eventually it made me feel a lot better even than the first time. Phisically it took the back and muscle pain and mentally just being at peace and at ease with myself and the environment. Personally, so far I highly recommend it. I will continue taking it and see how my body reacts to it long term. On the package states to take together with meals, but personally I will try to take it between meals.

This product has helped me a lot! I’ve been suffering from anxiety due to my husband’s long illness and, at the same time, I’ve been tapering off Zoloft/Lustral 50mg. I am now in 30mg and the side effects are anxiety and insomnia. I don’t like drugs at all!! And I am a bit sceptical about herbal remedies because they are either ineffective or they just take too long to act. This Holy Basil have been exceptional. It acts in about 10 mins after swallowing the tablets (2) and the effect is even better than diazepam (which I only take before going to bed). My anxiety is then under control and the effects of this herbal remedy last for at least 4 hours (may be more) it depends on the circumstances. It doesn’t have any side effects, as far as I am aware of. I am grateful to the manufacturers.
