I ordered both the black and white versions of this book to compare and was immediately impressed by the sturdy, eye-catching cover and the sheer number of pages to color. Experience & Variety This is calming, fun, and just a bit mysterious. The variety is great, and part of the appeal is not knowing what you are creating until the image emerges. Looking at a finished page without the numbers, I would have a hard time guessing the subject before coloring it. Watching subtle shifts in color take shape is surprisingly satisfying. Paper & Usability The paper could be better. Even with a scratch sheet underneath, I had some bleed-through across double pages, although marker choice plays a role. A couple of thick, removable pages at the back would help. My other small knock is the overuse of black fill around the edges. Sometimes it is 25 percent of the image, which means burning through black markers faster than I would like. Relaxation Factor This is wonderfully relaxing. We took it on a recent cruise and returned to it multiple times, swapping between the black and white versions. Both were equally enjoyable to watch come to life. Value & Recommendation For the amount of content, this is a great value. The black background makes colors pop, and the binding feels durable enough for long-term use. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you are an avid colorist or just want a peaceful way to pass the time. Bottom Line A perfect pick for unwinding, traveling, or sharing with friends. Just keep an extra black marker handy.

This is the best thing ever. I've already completed four to five pages (currently waiting on more alcohol markers because my black already ran out). Highly suggest using a piece of construction paper or thicker paper behind whatever page you're coloring. If you can no longer see the key for the next drawing because of bleeding, there is a key on the first page of the book!

What about the pencils. It did not come with the book. Did I have to buy these separate or send book back Please advise

super cute and fun! pages do tend to bleed through but never onto the next image if protected. using a laminated sheet of paper underneath has been helpful. overall super fun!

Paper is thin and markers will bleed which makes seeing the number match on the back of pages impossible. All the pictures are quite dark. I know they are on black paper but the majority of color used on Colin’s is black, and a few other dark colors. There are very little light colors to lighten the picture up

I love this color by number coloring book. It’s so relaxing & I like seeing what I colored at the end, I like the mystery. Only complaint is they use weird colors like yellow green a lot. There is also 100 pages all black backgrounds so I’ll have to get more black colored pencils eventually. I think this company should have sold the colored pencils that came with it because it’s hard to find colors so similar & yet different enough to stand out from each other. The company missed out on another way to make $ with that too because I’d reorder them when they ran out

One of the best color by number books. I read other reviews that talk about the marker bleeding through the paper, but I use a personalized coloring sheet protector from TikTok that I put behind the page I am coloring, so it’s not a problem. The pictures look very good after they are colored. I do have to hang them up and step back. Definitely one of my top picks for color by number for adults.

Really good and fun to paint like this. One bad thing is that it can be hard to see what colour you should use because the black is getting through the page

I love this, its like a puzzle book and a colouring book all in one. Lovely to unwind and colouring the little pixels. Just make sure you have a piece of card behind the page you're colouring to prevent bleeding on the page behind. I've been working from back to front so my back pen doesn't obscure the colour/number key on the back of the page. I'm really enjoying it so far.
