Ecofan
We had an eco fan that accidentally got knocked over and ruined the original power cell. After we’d replaced I found this power cell and decided to give it a shot. After wiring it up the old fan started working again and it even seems to work better than the newer fan

Reliable TEC Replacement – Still Going Strong After a Year
I’ve been using this thermoelectric module for over a year now, and it’s still performing flawlessly. It was a direct replacement for a failed module in a small thermoelectric cooling device, and it brought it back to full working order. Installation was straightforward if you're comfortable with basic soldering. Just make sure to apply fresh thermal paste—reusing the old paste isn’t recommended and can reduce cooling performance. A clean surface and proper paste application make a big difference in efficiency. This unit has held up well under regular use, and the cooling performance has remained consistent. For the price, it’s a solid and reliable option. Pros: Long-term reliability—still working after a year Easy installation for anyone with soldering experience Good performance in small thermoelectric cooling applications Affordable and effective replacement part Tips: Use new thermal paste for best cooling results Double-check polarity before soldering to avoid damage Cons: Not beginner-friendly unless you’ve soldered components before If you’re repairing a small thermoelectric cooling unit, this is a dependable replacement that delivers great value and performance.

Back from the Dead!!
My favorite mini-fridge broke down on me. It would no longer stay cool. It was just room temperature inside. The problem was that the peltier device (the white square device pictured) no longer functioned. These are inexpensive devices, but they only last around 5 years. As you can see from the date stamp that is what happened to my mini-fridge. Fortunately, I was able to remove the back of the mini-fridge and replace the the peltier device with this device I am writing the review on and it worked perfectly. It's pretty simple to replace and does require some wire splicing. As a test you can replace the device and then turn the unit on for 3 seconds and make sure the sides are set down correctly (there is a hot side and a cool side). The cool side is placed toward the fridge and hot side is the one that goes against the heat sink. Don't forget the thermal paste when replacing this component. All in all it was a 30 minute fix and my mini-fridge is back in working order. Thanks Amazon!!!

Very cold, very hot!
Tried to repair a micro fridge with this. The first didn’t work, the replacement arrived two days later and was perfect: too hot to handle on one side, too cold to hold on the other. Unsuccessful repair, but not because of the Peltier module!

Works perfectly as a replacement on my Ecofan Heat Powered Stove Fan
My Ecofan slowed down and finally stopped working after using for 2 years. i bought this as a replacement for the TEC and it has worked now for about two months. If you replace your TEC, use thermal grease sparingly on both sides and more important, hand-tighten the screws down as evenly as possible. Make sure that the hot and cold surfaces are parallel, then torque another half turn or so. Better to be too loose than too tight. Good luck!

Speaking for myself, it didn't last more than a year or two without losing strength.
Direct replacement for our Coca Cola mini fridge. Unfortuantely after just a couple years it's already ~50% less effective.

Watch how you install it.
Installed it the same way the original was installed yet had reverse effects on my mini fridge, it got hot, burned out since the cooling fan was on the wrong side. My mistake but still no instructions as to which is the hot side and the cold side. If I decide to buy again I’ll test it first with low voltage.
