STEEL MATE H2 Motorcycle Helmet Light

Excellent visibilty, easy to charge, easy to cycle through light style options… BUT 1. needs a simple still red light, as all light options flash continuously , 2. glue tape provided is very poor - I have replaced it after a few weeks - worried it may detach while riding >> NEW INFO: OK, so I got much better double sided tape - 3M outdoor/auto super strength stuff AND (this is important bit)... you need to raise the steel plate off the helmet a bit so magnet is at full strength. This took about 4 or 5 layers of double-sided tape. BUT it now is stuck on so good I can lift helmet just holding the light. It is a very strong magnet when it can contact properly... and had a friend tail me to see light... he said it only came on bright red when I pulled up sharply - so that is a good thing - no 'false alarms'. Great safety product. Still need to get a static red light though.

I like everything about it

Haven't had it long term but love the light modes,brightness and although the gyro for braking is a little delayed it still is amazing that it has this feature. Although the power button is a bit small and hard to reach if you have bigger hands that's about my only issue cause you have a weather seal and everything is closed off against the helmet to prevent water getting into the light

Great product. I use it on my electric skateboard helmet. Works well, nice and bright. The brake light don't seen to work as well as I thought but they are OK. Main thing is to be seen and it does that in style!! Definitely recommend. Fast delivery.

Only have 4 colour settings.. red blue orange or multicolored. Has a variety of different patterns but not a setting for solid colour. Sensor for braking isn't reliable. Definitely not worth $71
