I liked it so much that I resolved that, in the future, whatever phone I bought, I'd make sure that the Rugged Armor would be my first port of call when it came to choosing a case. However, when I moved onto my Pixel 6a, I checked out the Rugged Armor, only to find that they changed the design a little, so that, there were these unsightly, protruding "bulges," on all four corners, which did nothing for the aesthetics of the case, nor when fitted, the phone, so I gave it a pass. When buying my iPhone 17e, I came across the Rugged Armor case for it on desertcart and noticed that they'd reverted (I'm happy to say) to the original design! So, I ordered one and to say that I'm not disappointed is an understatement. I'm cockahoop πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ Like the case I had one my Samsung, it's a really snug, tight, secure fit, especially around the charging port, where soft cases were, traditionally, annoyingly "saggy!" It adds very little in the way of extra thickness to the phone, feels great in the hand and I believe that the material on the back has also changed/improved and has an almost "sandstone," like texture, making it much more grippy and more resistant to fingerprints than previous Rugged Armor cases. All in all, I'm chuffed to bits with my purpose. Whether or not, it's my "forever" case, remains to be seen, but for the present, it's more than up to the task. I've not tried out the "magsafe" properties, as yet, as I intend to buy a magnetic car mount. But, I'll pop back in a few weeks in order to comment on how effective that it. However, for now, I can thoroughly recommend this case! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ Review: Good product for reasonable price - This case fits well and seems to have decent protection. Grip is decent though a little harsh in the hand (will probably wear in over time). Buttons all work just fine. The camera button/slide control is not covered - this is pretty necessary if you want to actually use it for the slide features - with sufficient access. The camera lenses, flash, etc are all well protected without being obscured. The magsafe works well and had no issues with it on a magsafe stand. This case is another example of offering style without compromising on protection. The case fits the iPhone 15 Pro perfectly, and feels like a natural fit. The MagSafe component in the case works well and is pretty strong, working with all of my MagSafe accessories and chargers with no issue. The case doesn’t add much bulk to the phone other than around the phone edges, but this is to be expected. It’s comfortable to use, easy to grip but still feels light and sleek.
