This fountain is really the best I've ever purchased. It has two filters for water coming out of the well and water going back into it. I filled this to the top with filtered water and it lasted over 8 days. It is silent, and large enough to hold a good bit of water in a small footprint. It works very well, no problems with it and it's pretty easy to clean which I do about once every 15 days. Its very easy to assemble and the plug comes with enough space to get it away from the water, a long cord is good. Great machine!

I bought this fountain about 6 weeks ago. It’s a great watering dish. It’s so much easier to clean than my last fountain. I did have a small issue with a part. The seller, the representative was Sue and she was absolutely wonderful in taking care of the issue in a timely manner. They exceeded my expectations.

This fountain replaced one that had a reservoir bottle over the top. I think this one is much more safe in respects to water leaks than that design, It is also much quieter than the one I had. I like the looks of this one and it is really dead silent. The cats took a little bit of time to warm up to it, but they did. It has a blue light when full and red light when it needs to be filled which is nice. But, it pretty much has to be completely taken apart to be filled tho, with my two cats it lasts about a week maybe a little bit longer, so it's not like it has to be done all the time. It's a good opportunity to clean it, there's not a lot of parts and they all clean up really easy. When it does run empty, the pump stops and leaves a little bit in the top reservoir for the cats to keep drinking. There's still about an inch of water in the lower tank, I guess to keep the pump from burning up if dry. Overall it's a nice looking fountain, the cats like it and water lasts a good while.

The pump broke after 3 months of use, but we did accidentally let the water run down to nothing overnight. However, I contacted customer service and Olivia walked me through the steps to send a video of the issue. She then sent me a replacement pump free of charge! It is up and running now which made me (and my cat) very happy! The filter on this model has to be changed much more frequently than my previous fountain, which I don’t like, which is the only reason for the 4 star rating! It will end up costing me more in filters so that’s not good, but it is still a good replacement for my previous one that they no longer make apparently.

I have 2 little dogs (15 lbs) and would have to change and clean their water bowl daily. I wanted something that would last several days and the bottom not get yucky. This has not disappointed. It took them a couple of days to get used to it. The water flow is quiet, the dogs love the fresh water and I like that you can see the water level. I change their water every 4-5 days. It’s pretty easy to wash everything and put it back together. It comes with extra filters as well. I’m always surprised how much dirt is in the filter from the dogs drinking. Overall I am really happy with it.

I have good & bad features noted. EDIT 11/17/25 - I wrote a separate 3-star review of the replacement pump. The original fountain pump was unsatisfactory so I bought a replacement pump. It wound up doing the same thing. Works fine in the first few days then slows to a trickle. I wrote a review about that. The manufacturer sent me an unsolicited offer of a full refund for the entire fountain which surprised me & I came back to mention this excellent customer service and also, I didn’t know, they offer a 2-yr warranty on the fountain so wanted to mention that. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW (The Bad) I am disappointed in the pump performance. Mine works great right after cleaning but within a few days the water barely trickles out. My old fountain’s pump (different brand) never slowed down. To clean this pump you pretty much have to take it apart. The fountain has a better filtration system than most so I don’t understand why it gets bogged down. I clean it once every 7-10 days based on the velocity of the output. See my video. I bought this fountain in March and due to the trickle issue I just replaced the pump thinking the original was worn out. The new pump has the same issue and it’s only a few weeks old. When immediately cleaned it flows beautifully but within a few days it’s barely putting out any water. I find the need for such frequent cleaning a nuisance. (The Good) It is easy to disassemble but has more parts than my previous pet fountain. It has a better filtration system than my previous fountain. There is a multi filter pack for the reservoir spillway and another sponge filter on the pump. The pump has a sensor and light. The light is helpful in seeing the water level since the base is solid stainless steel other than a tiny window. It has automatic shut off if water level gets too low but I have never let mine run out of water. I typically top it off every evening before I go to bed. I have 3 cats who drink a lot. That is another good thing about the fountain. My cats like it. They are not afraid of it. It’s extremely quiet. The “waterfall” allows them to drink from the trickle of water or they can drink from the reservoir on top. Mine do both. If you look at my photos & videos you can see all the parts of the fountain and what is needed to clean it. I do find having to disassemble the pump tedious and time consuming. Also you’ll notice that I have it on a silicone mat and have more silicone mats surrounding it. That is because when the cats drink from it, they lap up the water and it splatters on my wood floor and cabinets so those silicone mats act as a protective shield. I also put a cloth under the fountain because it seems to splash out onto the floor. Another protective measure which absorbs the puddle under it. I got a popup saying I can only upload ONE video per review so I can’t share the comparison. Sorry. The photos show how many parts there are and the one with the pencil shows a tiny hole from the impeller to the water tube. It comes with a tiny bottle brush which helps with the cleaning. Mine has never been stopped up so I don’t understand why the pump slows down after a few days.

Yes the container and cover are stainless steel BUT!!!, there is a plastic water spout AND a plastic under tray AND a plastic flow tube AND a plastic housed pump. ALL of which which grow mold , get yucky, promote feline acne and smell So I’m going to make a concerted effort to clean EVERYTHING once a week on Sunday. Which I guess is what one should do no matter WHAT product you buy My point here is the marketing is a big fat lie

I have had other cat fountains, but I really like this one because it is so quiet. The water bubbles up the way it would from a natural spring. It is not disturbing to the cats and they took to it right away. It is easy to clean and change the filter. It holds a good amount of water and it has a light that turns red when the water level gets too low.

It was was working good and the cats loved it. However, the pump failed and stopped working after one week only., and no replacement for the pump has been found.
