Great disk for CCTV NVR
Excellent Hard Drive that I have added in to a NVR. Disk was detected straight away and formatted perfectly. This operates perfectly fine for multiple 4k feeds so speed wise does the job. I've only had it installed for a matter of weeks so cannot determine how resilient it is.

A very good and reliable hard drive for CCTV.
I bought this to replace an identical one that I bought about 10 years ago. I use them for multi camera CCTV that records AHD 24/7. 8TB stores 8 channels for around 4 weeks before overwriting the files. Comes very well packed and is a simple 'plug, format and play'. Delivery was quicker than expected. All good.

Very quite & smooth playback
I've had the drive in my Klear Pro Max NVR now for a couple of weeks, runs very quiet smooth playback. Obviously at this point don't know how the long term will be, but so far so good

Working fine, just a little noisy
Arrived on time, and I've installed it into my UDMSE without any issues. However, it's noisier than I expected. Apparently, this is typical with larger disk drives

This is one of the many WD Purple label Hard disks that I have ordered. They are great drives, very reliable and fast. I use these WD purple drives in my NAS drives. Just install and forget about them ... :-) From my past experience, these drives will go many years in always on situations without a hitch. Last NAS I had some HD running non-stop for 10 years. Only upgraded the NAS for more speed and installed WD hard drives again for maximum capacity and their bulletproof reliability. Only caveat is they have this continuous fairly loud "thumping" sound. I just ended up placing the NAS drives a little aways, so that the noise of the HD's would not disturb. Highly recommended!!!
