Improved over earlier version
Believe the early positive reviews, these are a worthwhile upgrade over the BR03. Fuller sound with good detail. Not forward with the soundstage somewhat laid back, but not recessed. Pretty easy to drive. Good value even with the recent price increase. Some tips: these need break in, around 40 hours seemed right When possible replace the stock jumpers with better quality ones when single wiring, and use the red/+ on the high frequency post

Super Musical / Nicely Priced!
Easy to listen to these all day, as You Tube reviewers have said. I'd be hard pressed to think of a better pair of speakers for under $1000...although they're a few that might, depending on your particular likes. The Polk R-200 comes to mind, and there are others, but none I have heard that blend detail and a smooth midrange in quite this way. The bass is solid and well defined, never seems boomy. Bass is almost always very room dependent though, and I could imagine adding a subwoofer in larger rooms, or for extreme bass with Home Theater. For my tastes, I'd have to go all the way up to the KEF Q Concerto Meta to really get a quantum improvement...or about twice the price of the Bro 4's!

Triangle!!
I am a self admitted audio geek. I actually consider that a badge of honor. All that means is my ears are very discerning. I have owned and listened to more than my fair share of bookshelf size speakers, but this the pair I have and still currently listen to almost on the daily. Granted my Heaven 11 Billie amp isn't the cheapest, but it is by no means the most expensive. If you run these Triangles spaced properly on some decent stands with a well dialed subwoofer, I would run this system almost against anything, including floor stands. Hands down the best mid's and imaging in this price range I have heard..

Close, but not right for me.
The Bad: Too much mid highs for me, highs can be splashy on some recordings. Getting some aaahhh vowel mid sound. A bit unatural sounding on some instruments, especially electric guitar. This is at 55-60 dB listening levels, it all gets more pronounced as you turn up the volume. Soundstage not very wide, tall or deep. The Good: Has a wide mid forward center which I liked the most. Fairly clear flat sound from this wide mid center. Bass also pretty good. Likes duller recordings and well recorded music. I listen to a variety of music, compose, record unusual electric layered music and guitar, been doing it for 45 years.

Balanced Sound with Great Detail
These Triangle BR04 speakers deliver very balanced sound: the bass, mids, and treble all sound great while none of them overpower each other. There's a great amount of detail in the sound they produce, and sometimes I'll forget that I don't actually have another pair (or two) of speakers active. They are also very adept at handling music with several layers of voices and instruments being played simultaneously, like the jam that begins at 3:30 in Funkadelic's "I Call My Baby Pussycat". I haven't experienced any kind of "fatigue" while listening to them, and I don't expect to. Overall, these speakers produce wonderful sound and are well worth their price.

Triangle Borea 4
I luckily purchased these before the recent price increase, so to some extent, my review is based on the $550 I paid for these. I have paired the Triangles with three difference receivers and have been pleasantly surprised at their performance. Large for a "bookshelf" speaker, they deliver in accordance with their size. Enough detail on top. and while I do pair with a sub, at lower to medium volumes, the low end is quite present.

Perfect set up
Initially watched a YouTube review on triangle borea speakers where they were connected to a WiiM and it gave me a good solution for my garage attic. Bought both from Amazon. The V tuner app is very practical to access to entire world. I grew out of $20K+ amplifiers, $10K tuners…I would recommend it, but the wiim app needs a direct setting access button in the menu.
