Bought a size up to get a slightly loose fit. I think the garment is true to size and is intended to be close fitting so this is personal choice. Very comfortable to wear. Feels like wearing a favourite t-shirt. Not been washed yet but am optimistic that it'll wash ok as I have other Mountain Warehouse items and they've all been reliable

As thermal, I’d say it’s not the best and it is very big (probably a size too big). I bought a size 24 but I am borderline 26 and it is still quite large. I’d say it is a disappointing purchase. I won’t return it though as I can make use of it.
