This specific saffron has TREMENDOUSLY helped me with anxiety and depression!! I lost my bottle on a vacation and went over a week without it and I felt the difference let me tell you!! It was a very hard week. This absolutely helps better than SSRIs. It also helps my diet. I don’t crave yucky food as much and I just feel overall soooo much better and productive and happy. This is a fairly cheap bottle to buy compared to others so don’t hesitate to try it! For me, this worked like a charm. I wish I knew about it sooner!!

This review is not to belittle this product whatsoever , it is more so to inform. I like many others started taking saffron because let's face it...who doesn't want a "nature made happy pill". I'm not depressed however I do suffer from anxiety and I do often have mood swings ESPECIALLY with my children. Immediately when I took this I did notice I just felt better, it's hard to explain ...it felt almost as if I took a small dose of shrooms but without the hallucinogen part. So I started taking it consistently and I notice if I took it in the morning it would make me very tired but for a short period of time. So I decided to switch it to night time and I immediately noticed a HUGE difference in my insomnia! I used to wake up and not be able to go back to sleep especially after using the bathroom. SIDE EFFECTS After experiencing severe dry eyes and red eyes I looked into what may be causing my symptoms and found this saffron to be the culprit. I'm not sure if it is this brand or saffron in general. After reading up on it I discovered that if you experience dry eyes on it you may have a sensitivity to it ...which makes sense for me as I am very sensitive to a lot of things. So all in all this is to say if you take this beware of the possible dry eye side effect. If you read this until the end I want you to know that you are not broken, you are perfect the way you are. Ordered for the praise it’s receiving for energy elevation. After 2 days taking it I fell into a serious funk, super depressed and tired. Kept taking for a few more days and didn’t feel better. Thought maybe it had to do with the saffron so I stopped taking it. Felt like my regular self in a couple days, thankfully. No telling what would have happened if I kept taking it. I was not in a very good place. My warning is this…do not take this unsupervised if you’re on a prescribed antidepressant. It could potentially undo a lot of hard professional and personal work on your road to mental health.

I’ve been really impressed with Saffron. I started taking it to help with my mood and sleep, and I’ve noticed such a calming, balanced feeling overall. I feel more relaxed in the evenings, and it’s helped me wind down without feeling groggy the next day.
