My Bolt has been a great addition to the house. It's fast, easy, attractive, mostly reliable, and the support behind it is excellent. I did start having an issue once winter hit where the fingerprint reader seemed to die and was completely useless, but after contacting the U-tec customer support, they got things taken care of quickly and sent me a new lock to replace it. Luckily, the keypad and wireless capabilities continued to work just fine. I've seen other reviews mentioning the sensor failing, so fingers crossed that whatever issue that was is completely fixed. Time will tell.

As a retired software engineer with 40+ years of experience, I’m very critical of the products and apps I use at home. I’ve been using the ULTRALOQ 2025 Upgrade Bolt Fingerprint Matter Smart Lock for less than three months but so far it has exceeded all expectations. I currently have three of these locks installed which replaced existing deadbolt locks and overall the experience has been excellent. Our family uses various Apple iPhones connected to our Thread network via Apple 4K TV device. Communication with the locks has been fast, seamless, and error-free. Fingerprint and PIN features work perfectly. I did encounter a few minor installation issues: (1) Strike plate installation: The provided screws for the strike plate were shorter than those from my old locks. I reused the longer screws from the previous strike plate, which fit perfectly and gave me extra confidence in security. For the other locks, I simply kept the old strike plates with the deeper screws, which worked flawlessly. (2) Door sensor instructions: The instructions and diagram for the door sensor were initially unclear. The diagram referred to the magnet as the 'sensor,' which caused some confusion. After understanding that the magnet is part of the door open/close system and the actual sensor electronics are contained within the smart lock itself, installation on the remaining locks was quick and easy. (3) User access management: For households with multiple locks, each user currently needs to perform the fingerprint learning procedure and define a PIN on each individual lock. With five family members and three locks, this takes extra time. It would be convenient if a user's access information (fingerprint and PIN) could be shared across locks as defined by the account admin, with the option to customize access per lock if desired. In this case the user would only have to do the finger print learning process one time. Despite these minor points, the locks are very well designed, reliable, and easy to use. Customer service has been excellent, responsive, and helpful. Overall, the product quality, software, and support are top-notch. I highly recommend the ULTRALOQ 2025 smart lock to anyone seeking a secure, modern, and easy-to-manage smart lock system.

Overall, I’m very happy with this smart lock, especially because of the customer support experience. Pros: Matter support, which is a big plus if you’re building a modern smart home. Fingerprint reader is fast and reliable once set up. A huge standout feature is the door lock sensor that prevents the lock from engaging when the door is open. This is something many smart locks don’t handle well, and it’s a major advantage over competing products. Solid build quality and good day-to-day performance. Cons: Initial setup can be a bit challenging, especially for less technical users. It’s manageable, but expect to spend some time getting everything configured properly. After about 6 months of use, the unit stopped working. While that was disappointing, what really impressed me was the customer support. I contacted them, and they were prompt, responsive, and very helpful. The lock was replaced quickly under warranty with no hassle, which makes a huge difference and shows the company stands behind their product. Bottom line: Even with the failure, the combination of smart features—especially the door-open safety sensor—and excellent customer support makes this an easy recommendation. Issues can happen with electronics, but how a company handles them matters, and in this case, they handled it perfectly.

Worked well but needs a wifi bridge which can be a hassle but it was ok for us.

Me gustó mucho la funcionalidad y no es muy ruidoso. Fue rápido y sencillo de instalar. El único inconveniente que noto es que te pide elegir una billetera NFC default. Así que si tienes tus pagos a través de Google Wallet, tienes que elegir entre Google Wallet o U-Home. En caso de usar Google Wallet no puedes llegar y utilizar tu teléfono rápidamente, necesitarás abrir la aplicación o te pedirá que confirmes utilizar U-Home. En caso de utilizar U-Home, no podrás utilizar pagos de Google Wallet a menos que abras la aplicación de Google Wallet.

Bien pero fue un poco decepcionante. La cerradura es robusta y se buenos materiales. En si la construcción es excelente pero la app y las funciones que la hacen "especial" sobre otras no funcionan bien, tampoco el matter funciona bien. Esperaba más la verdad..

Contento con el producto. Es fácil de programar y a distancia puedo controlar los accesos de las personas. Considero que es un diseño bonito. Sí necesite de un cerrajero para la perforación en la puerta y marco de la puerta.
